Saw a guy in a *very* damaged car in KY a while back with a PWNED plate.

There is someone running around Columbus in a smartcar (or similar) that has BAZINGA

2012-10-06 01:08:24 PM
Here in Charlottesville, VA I saw ASUWSH

I've been thinking about getting TZVECL as a plate, I can't imagine too many people would get it, but would realize it has to be a vanity plate

I saw one just the other day. R2NC3P I think that beats http418, but then again, we'd probably be using different scales.

2012-10-06 01:22:24 PM
I could understand an "HTTP402" plate on a new car, but "HTTP418" is just silly.

2012-10-06 01:25:03 PM
A former coworker of mine had (or probably still has) "OSI L4".

My plate.

Yes, I know it says Nebraska on it.

Anyone have more suggestions for bumper stickers?

My previous car plate was "LINUX SA". It was supposed to be transferred to my new car but the DMV screwed up and sent me new plates. I need to find the time to get that mess cleared up. My Harley is "GEEKBKR".

How much of a geek am I that I can tell you exactly where the "SYN ACK" photograph was taken:

City Ave and Conshohocken St Rd., Philadelphia

Guy I used to bike and ski with had a C inspired plate. But I forget if it was INCL STDIO or just STD IO, only a few states allowed more than 6 characters back then.

Hey, it was 20 years ago or so, I am old and I forget.

/Some women once suggested I get CLULES, they even offered to buy it for me.

First off, deslidified.

Second, list fails without Indiana's only Unix license.

I have [TCP IP]

HONK!

"Do you know what it means?" Yes.
"How did you get it?" I applied for it.
"Yeah. But it wasn't available. How did you get it?" I applied for it first.

Get off of my lawn.

//Another guy in the our parking garage at work got TCP 1P
///Pfft.

Two plates ago, I had M12 LRV on my pickup. Because it follows the format of the standard state plate, it was too subtle for anyone to notice.

2012-10-06 02:02:07 PM
I saw a license plate with 0253EV the last time I was up at Los Alamos.

I remember ML8 ML8 on a white VW Rabbit.

Also former co-worker has OHMS LAW which was actually what he worked with.

I have OH 42NA. Because O 42NA was taken. Not quite the geek realm, but in the vicinity.

That looks like an old Illinois plate, if it is then I'm surprised I've never seen it before.

See, I like that.

There was a car where I went to school with "IS P NP" and all my friends (geeks, but so am I) thought it was awesome. I didn't, really. [geek reference] doesn't do much for me unless there's something clever to it, apparently.

Saw one in Wisconsin that slid by the censor board. It read 1000101.

There is an old blue Volvo station wagon in Sunnyvale, CA with the plate reading "TARDIS."

That's geeky enough for me.
