(Goal)   This weekend's EPL action starts with Sunderland at Man City, Liverpool hosting Stoke, and Manchester United at Newcastle, but the hard games to predict are at the bottom of the table. It's your Premier League thread   (goal.com) divider line 200

Great ending here in Southampton!

2012-10-07 10:20:30 AM
And typical Fulham. I think we give up more goals in the last 3 minutes than any team in the league.

DAMMIT RICHARDSON!

THANK YOU FORTE!

That's a correct draw!

689908: MUFC lineup: Dave, Brazilian, Brazilian city, Evans, Liability, The Brand, Carrick, academy graduate, Scouser, shirt-seller, Oh Robin van Persie.

All out attack.

Or, as they are known on Arseblog: Some coont, Some coont, Some coont, Some coont, Some coont, Some coont, Some coont, Some coont, Some coont, Some coont, Judas Iscariot.

Please end in a tie. It's not 1-1, but I'll take it

Same for me. Some small consolation I suppose. Would have rather gotten the 3 pts.

Stimied in a Rut: Nothing against Fulham, but I figured Southampton would win this one. Why Friedel didn't start I don't know. He hasn't been at fault for any goals.

Also Spurs have had 2 great chances in the first 2 minutes. Come on Spurs!

Fulham have a truely bad away record and had Burbatov on the sick list so i couldn't see them winning this, but Southampton are bad so i went with 1-1 draw.

689908: Terry and Cole are an embarrassment to football, to Chelsea and to England. The club - and just as importantly, their supporters - need to be seen to understand that clearly. And react accordingly.

Cole and Terry are poster childs for the spoiled selfish twats that infest moden sports. They deserve every boo they get from people in the stands.

It's funny cause it's true.

Good first half from spurs, but no goals to show for it. Bale took a horribly embarrassing dive and should have been carded for it. He has turned into something of a diver and I still stand by the fact that the FA should retroactively punish obvious diving with multiple match bans.

Spurs were on top all match, but haven't tested Guzan all that much, hopefully they get their shots on target in the second half. I'm still pissed about the sitting of Friedel.

Gary Neville and Martin Tyler are doing the commentary on Sky. Should be a great match with great commentary.

Cracking header from Evans!

Gonna be a long day for nufc

Great goal from Evans!

2012-10-07 11:13:41 AM
Steve Harper, you suck

2012-10-07 11:14:51 AM
Wow, how it's not 2-0 I'll never know. What was Welbeck thinking? Pass it to RvP for the easy tap in! That's like the easiest goal ever.

2012-10-07 11:16:34 AM
I had this 3-2, thinking I sold MU short now.

2012-10-07 11:18:16 AM
Both United and Spurs score! Both were defenders! Evra for United and Caulker for Spurs.

2012-10-07 11:18:51 AM
I had this United game 1-1, but with the safety chip on it.

2012-10-07 11:22:50 AM
Wtf was that? Fox Soccer here in the states just ran a Budweiser ad bar on the bottom of the screen. Please don't ruin footy for me like you did all other sports.

2012-10-07 11:23:21 AM
Aston Villa could really use a proven PL goal scorer to start the game with.

2012-10-07 11:29:31 AM
Spurs set me up for a perfect. Good. Now all I need is Liverpool to score. Please score Liverpool.

Cognitive Displaysia: I had this 3-2, thinking I sold MU short now.

Yeah, me too. Can never count out Toon though.

Once again I backed someone with my x3 who is going to cost me a lot points. Curse you Pool! I'm just going to do the x2 from now on.

2012-10-07 11:54:13 AM
70 points this afternoon. United will probably add 10-30 more. Not bad and badly needed

2012-10-07 11:56:11 AM
Of course Liverpool draw a game they need to win. Of course they do. At least Spurs still give me a perfect. Although Newcastle I had them for a draw, so I'm getting screwed there too.

2012-10-07 12:00:04 PM
Well, Pool cost me pts, had them 1-0. Needed Villa to pull one back, but still got result. At least I'll end up with positive pts this week.

2012-10-07 12:04:36 PM
Really enjoying United's attacking play. Not so much their defending.

I was one Liverpool goal away from three perfect scores so far today. Typical. Thieving twats.

clean sheet biatches!

/trying to stay positive

I thought so too.

Hmm nope. Really close though. Great call

Yeah, fantastic call. You couldn't really blame the linesman either way on that one.

2012-10-07 12:14:30 PM
Not forgetting that was a brilliant save too.

2012-10-07 12:15:55 PM
Valencia is a timely sub, we need the width.

I love how this segues directly into NFL action. So I get a round of golf at 8 am, head home for back-to-back EPL games, then end the day with back-to-back NFL games (and/or RedZone). Sundays rule

2012-10-07 12:31:10 PM
Well struck, intentional or not.

2012-10-07 12:38:28 PM
Great goal from Cleverly.

2012-10-07 12:52:48 PM
Not too upset bout the result. We were missing 4 of our starting back 5 so wasn't really expecting much but I think we played pretty well besides defending set pieces.

2012-10-07 01:00:13 PM
Nice. A very welcome clean sheet. MUFC's passing was smooth.

Another international break. Ze Germans are coming! Oh lawd.

2012-10-07 01:13:29 PM
I'm still pissed about the sitting of Friedel.

Why? Lloris is already far better than Friedel ever was. You guys got a steal there.

2012-10-07 01:37:41 PM
Hmm, not that bad of a morning. 1 Perfect, 1 Correct Draw/Goal diff, 1 Correct Outcome, and only 1 wrong outcome (darn Liverpool).

I'll take it after last weeks performance.

2012-10-07 01:54:31 PM

689908: 0 - Before today, Man Utd had been ahead by 2+ goals in 344 different PL games and had never lost (334W 10D). Solid.

FFPL players, bow down before this guy: £63k win from a 50p bet

And finally, Mr Suarez.

Hah! That Suarez clip is magnificent!

689908: This is a good one too.

Yeah that was the dive I was talking about earlier. So bad.
