TVTropes is actually the direct reference.

Awesome reference.

The funny thing about the panel as printed (which is shown on TV Tropes) is that the artist originally drew the fridge with the door completely open so you could see the full, intact body stuffed in the fridge. But DC, in their infinite wisdom, said that was too gruesome. So, the artist re-drew the panel as it's seen, which actually makes the scene MORE gruesome because now you're left with the impression that Major Force dismembered Alex before stuffing her into the fridge.

My roommate's stool sample kit.

I kid you not. My college roommate (German dude, if that helps) had medical tests going on. He had to provide stool samples over a week's time. Yeah, the tests containers were 'contained', but still...

Shadow Blasko: For me it was not the strangest things I found in the fridge... but finding the food before it went bad (or started smelling) the night I decided to clean the fridge while on Ambien.

/Laundry in the dishwasher...
//Bacon in the sock drawer, condiments in the closet, frozen pizza stack was in the dish cupboard.

I've never taken Ambien, but for a while I was taking trazodone to help with my insomnia. I woke up
in the middle of the night one night at my kitchen table.

What woke me up? The sound of the hand mixer that I found myself holding. I was making cookies
in my sleep. All the ingredients were in the mixing bowl, though oddly not a measuring cup was in sight.
The consistency of the dough was right so I figured I may as well finish making them.

They turned out pretty good!

I quit taking the trazodone after that, though.

My cat.

When I was 14 or 15, we were all watching a football game. At half time, I went into the kitchen to
get drinks for everyone. I opened the fridge and I'm pulling out sodas and beer and setting them
on the counter.

I guess during one of my turns toward the counter, my cat jumped into the fridge. I didn't know it
and I closed the fridge.

Five or ten minutes later the fridge starts howling. I went over and opened the door and a cold,
very upset hissing ball of claws came barreling out.

From a video a very good female friend made for me last year. You can guess where it goes from there.

I'm guessing that she left to go to work at her favorite street corner.

Living in a household full of distracted people all with diagnosed ADHD, we tend to find all kinds of oddities in the fridge or freezer.

Yes, a cat - she hopped in while the door was open and I had the cream out for my coffee. I had no idea where all that meowling was coming from, but then opened the door, and there was that little dickens. Fortunately, I didn't leave for work immediately, or it could have turned out badly for her.

Keys, obviously. A bag of flour. The eggs were in the cupboard. Cat toys. Children toys. Glasses. Bag of sugar.

We have had fishing worms. We standardly have wax worms and/or meal worms for gecko treats. On occasion, the waxies have escaped.

A dead rat in the freezer (we were waiting for the ground to thaw so we could bury him). My friend had a dead cat in her chest freezer for the same reason.

And yes, we do, on occasion, actually have food in there!

i have horrible sleep problems so my psychiatrist had me try Ambien. worse screaming surreal death hell nightmares i ever had in my life. bonus: got up in the morning, went in the kitchen to make coffee. had no recollection of going in the kitchen sometime during the night and turning on one of the (electric) burners. i stored my very large hard plastic cutting board against the wall to the left of the stove on a little section of counter. the heat of the burner being on made the hard plastic slowly and eventually run down and semi melt into a large blob, completely ruining the cutting board. we were very lucky the damn house didn't burn down. fark Ambien. fark it right up the a.

KrispyKritter: digitalrain.

I don't doubt for a second that some folks have bad reactions to it, but as a person who has to do a lot of international business travel, it's a lifesaver for me. Get the dinner service on the plane, pop a pill, and I have a shot at getting some sleep. Without it, that kind of travel would be a disaster for me. On the ground, I take it each night until I've adjusted to the time zone... about 1 day for every 2 hours of time zone shift.

Crazy ex wife had a habit of putting fridge stuff in the cabinets and cabinet stuff in the fridge. Would routinely find things like unopened cans of corn in the fridge and opened gallons of milk in the cabinet.

my dad lost his wallet years ago and we could not find it. he had to get a new drivers license, cancel the credit cards, etc. they even checked at his job, he thought someone stole it from his truck (he leaves it there sometimes). anyway, like 8 months later my mom found his wallet in the freezer.

I know that after a year a banana turns into this half water balloon/ half used condom thing filled with epicly sickly-sweet smelling vile nastiness that has the consistency of warm honey and starts to burn after a minute or so.

Why does this one have a picture of a fat lady in her early 40s instead of a naked little girl?
