Rex_Banner: They just need one of the first two. If they can't take two out of three at home, they don't deserve to move on

The Orioles won 6 of 9 in New York this season.

This series has no home field. It's going to be a fight.

Polish Hussar: W.C.fields forever: Hope they throw stuff.I missed the earlier trashing.

There was a wrapper blowing around behind home earlier, but it's gone now

I saw that and it inspired me.

That doesn't really change what I said: if the Yankees (or any team at this point) can't win two out of three at home, they don't deserve to move on

Well, yeah, but they only have to play 2 games in Baltimore.

Lt. Cheese Weasel: Welcome to Buffalo, Texas.

Better than their former status as the Lions of baseball. I'd say they are more the Eagles or Bengals.

On the positive side, Rangers fans, Hamilton is probably going to be vastly overvalued on the free agent market, so you probably just did your team a favor by booing him right out of town.

(But holy crap, that guy sure was an easy out tonight.)

Dallas fans will get double-owned by Baltimore when the Ravens stomp the Cowboys in 9 days.

\\ Redskins fan
\\ But anytime Dallas loses is entertaining for me

I'm so freakin' happy right now, not only because the Orioles beat the Rangers, but now, finally, after 16 years, the Orioles have the opportunity for payback. And I get to go to my 1st playoff game Sunday night. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

No, like I said, 2 weeks ago I was saying they would lose out to the A's

As long as it wasn't the Angels...

In other AL news, the jackass owner of the A's is refusing to pull the tarps from the upper deck despite high demand to "preserve a more intimate atmosphere"...

The same owners trying to leave Oakland.

I'm as biased for the O's as any Yankee fan would be for their team but based on this view I don't think its unreasonable to think Tarasco catches that on the fly.
