Decillion: We're still supposed to buy-in to the Sideshow Bob name?
He's still only a suspect?

Yes, yes, of course. But where is Bart Simpson? Seen him lately? I haven't. I'm just sain'...

I don't understand why we give a mass murderer an awesome nickname.

Sideshow Bob is hilarious. He's Kelsey Grammar playing Fraiser trapped in a clown. Some of my favorite Simpsons episodes involve Sideshow Bob.

Thankfully it only seems to be Fark that's trying to label this guy. Maybe some people think its funny and belittling to call this guy the name of clown, but I think its the opposite. Sideshow Bob is too good to be even remotely associated with this guy.

ChuDogg: Sure you can call him a douchebag, but them I'm going to call you a douchebag for violating his freedom of speech

You know, for a country that has so much pride tied up in "freedom of speech", there sure are a buttload of Americans that have no frickkin clue what it means.

ChuDogg: then somebody else will come along and call me a douchebag for saying that's a violation of free speech

Crap. I glossed over that part.

Still, an awful lot of people think that free speech means freedom from criticism by private citizens.

Thank you for saving me the trouble. It's bad enough to explain a joke but doubly so when you're already almost, but not quite, ashamed of the low quality of said joke.

Unless you're in Aurora, I don't understand the outrage or offense. Aren't you supposed to be something scary on Halloween?

Okay, now I'm confused. I thought "is the 3 silent" was just a pretty good joke, especially ignoring as it did the accidental omission of the "r" from "Fesc3po".
Am I an idiot? Is this a "that's the joke" moment?

Anyone who has a real right to be offended is dead, so what's the issue?

Drew thought it up so the sycophantic mods are going with it. Somewhere around the time Fark became Tyler Perry's Drew Curtis' Fark, getting greenlights became about kissing Drew's ass.

T.rex: Halloween, in and of itself, is a celebration of evil. I'd actually be more upset with people who DON'T dress up as the Aurora killer.

Not sure if trolling.

Jack-O-lanterns are intended to scare AWAY evil spirits. Originally they were carved from turnips. The modern holiday is a mash-up of harvest festivals and festivals/festivals honoring the dead (like the Mexican Dia De Los Muertes).

I'm guessing you've never really researched the history of many holidays have you... definitely not this one.

Barnstormer: Instead of groaning "Braaaains!" I was going to groan "Braaaaady!"

You should have tried, "gaaaaaaaaaaaames!"

So, by your logic, i guess that means Easter is when we celebrate the crucifixion of Jews? President's Day is when we celebrate assassinations, and wearing black on 9-11 is in moratorium to the deceased high-jackers.
