I don't really need an explanation on why you can't cut through a safe with a laser concealed inside a Rolex...

Actually the only one he craped on was the Magnet that can deflect bullets.

It was a fun interview, I got to listen to it while traveling for work.

He agrees with you.  In fact for one gadget, he concludes, that its probably impossible but:

"But it's James Bond, and so he gets stuff that you don't."

It'd be pretty cool IMHO if, after this new Skyfall movie, a realistic and plausible James Bond movie was made.

Won't happen, since Bond would be dead within five minutes.

What no fellatio for NDT? Fark, you continue to surprise me.

I know there were holes, but what did you find particularly unbelievable about Casino Royale?

You mean, besides the in-car defribulator?

It wasn't in any of the Bond movies, I don't know what they were talking about.

NPR or PCP amirite?

Actually, thanks to at least one of the most famous continuity errors in film history, they don't even stand the test of time..

I know. It's been, what, a whole 2 weeks since the last link about this guy was greenlit?

//I don't get the fascination with this guy. Is it the novelty factor at play 'cos he's black African-American?

James Bond stares at microfiche for 2 hours?

It's a damn shame that TFA's author is a semiliterate know-it-all, instead of someone who takes writing seriously. NDT deserves better.

Whoops, wrong NDT thread. That actually refers to Ariane Coffin's regrettably poorly written tribute to the man for his birthday. I'm glad she likes him. I wish she respected him -- and us, and herself -- to write about it like an educated grown-up.

Nothing at all unrealistic about that. They sell portable defibrillator now. If you can have one carried by EMTs there is absolutely no reason you can't have one hidden in a car.
