laulaja: Anyone else ever have trouble with caps sticking on when typing & unable to disengage? Mayhap can fix that this AM.

mousiebelle: Well, Cassie is at the vet. Her breathing didn't sound so great again this morning and I'd much rather have her see the regular vet than go see the e-vet over the weekend. They said they were going to do chest x-rays and let me know what they find. I'm worried... I'll let you know what happens.

mousiebelle: SnarfVader & vudutek - thank you! I love this community so very much!Update: Just got a call from the vet. The x-rays showed something, but they're not sure what... so they're taking the x-rays to a specialist tonight. They also did some blood work, gave her a steroid injection and are starting her on antibiotics to get us through the weekend. Preliminary diagnosis is possibly asthma? We don't know...
MissFeasance: Bless those firemen who save animals. For anyone who doesn't have one, these are a good thing to have - a sticker for your front door that alerts rescue personnel to having pets in your house. I keep one at every entrance in case, god forbid, there was a fire or something. We got ours for free from the kennel where we take the dog when we need to go out of town."Pets inside" stickers
Bathia_Mapes: Eye of the Kittens
MajorGroove: My kitty, Toshiro, is at the vet as I speak. He started visiting his litterbox CONSTANTLY yesterday, but only pees a tiny bit each time. I suspect either a UTI or an early obstruction that's irritating him. We won't know until he can give a urine sample (of course he went in with a totally empty bladder). Either way, send good thoughts his way!The kitteh in question:[farm8.staticflickr.com image 640x512]
This picture from the Duluth News-Tribune in 1991 of a fireman resuscitating a kitten. the kitten survived and was adopted by the fireman.
mousiebelle: Lars is never happy with Cassie after she sees the vet.
