So Romney will alloy exemptions already granted, but not allow new ones. And Reid Romney would not allow new exemptions.

O.o

FTA: Romeny

Maybe these guys should proof-read their own releases first?

Also: Romney's campaign said he would honor deportation exemptions issued by the Obama administration before his inauguration but would not grant new ones after taking office.

So in other words he wouldn't offer exemptions upon taking office. So how is this a lie again?

That wasn't Reid's claim, but it was Romney's response.

Reid may or may not have misrepresented something?

I suppose this is to equal out the reporting of the slew of lies Romney vomited forth last night?

Fair and balanced, even when it is apples and oranges?

Dear GOP,

You had a perfectly pristine chance to unseat Reid 2 years ago but you placed your bets on Sharon "Batshiat Crazy Even by Current Republican Standards" Angle. Reap what you sow dumb-asses.

a misquote is a bit different than an outright lie.

we will see what his apology looks like to see if it was a mistake or another Reid lie like the tax lie.

Wrong.
He claimed that a credible source said that Romney didn't pay taxes for 10 years.

Wrong. Reid said a credible source told him Romney didn't pay INCOME TAX for 10 years.

Romney's non-denial denial was that he paid 'Lots of taxes'.

Those two statements can both be correct. I'll bet sales tax on feed for ballet horses is pretty steep.

Let's stop all of this bickering and prosecute Reid for violating the Hatch Act.

He removed the quotations, but then kept the statement. So now it can be stated as a lie.

Well, he must not have since he is afraid to release his tax return from 2009, although it might be that Romney took the Swiss account amnesty for tax cheats that he is hiding.

You know, everyone likes to bash on Romney for his ballet horses, but think about it - someone has to own them and the 47% sure as hell can't afford to.

He released a summary from his accountants. The IRS has not audited him for tax fraud. Do you have any evidence contrary or do you just enjoy pushing conjecture as fact? Obama is a closet furry, do you have proof he isn't?

I'm thinking horse feed is exempt from sales tax, but I know for a fact that materials for car elevators are not. And that's lots of taxes!

Romney could put the whole thing to rest by living up to his own father's expectations.
