You want to know how Obama can turn this whole mess around? He should go on Leno or Letterman or some other late-night show and say this:

"It wasn't my best performance. To be honest, I was very distracted. But I don't think anyone can blame me for being distracted; after all, it was my anniversary. And every time I listened to Governor Romney talk, I could only think of one thing: If we elect Governor Romney as president, he will do to our great nation what I just did to my beautiful wife backstage."

According to ThreeFiftyEight.com, Romney now has a 242 percent chance of winning the election. His polling numbers could drop by 110 points and he would still be in the lead. So tell me again: Who is really out of touch with reality?

I like how the article starts off by quoting the Dems acknowledging the loss, that right there is a country mile ahead of the GOP. Even if Romney stripped naked and took a dump on stage, the GOP would still claim victory.

So, score one for humility and reason. Besides, the only reason people are surprised that the incumbent didn't win is because Obama's such a kick ass public speaker. The incumbent should lose the debates IMO. He should be a bit too busy running the free world to practice arguing with Mittens.

Not that bad of a debate, though my drinking game sucked. And when Romney smirks he embodies every smart-ass trust fund frat boy in the universe. I ordered him a cubic ton of cockpunches, COD.

You know what today reminds me of? It's like watching a football game, it's late in the 4th quarter, and one team is up by two scores. The team in the lead has the ball and they're running it. Every play is a run. At one point, a defensive end breaks into the backfield and stops the running back for a 4 yard loss.

Today is that defensive player's celebration dance.

because often calling out someone for their dishonesty is a waste of time - their supporters will eat up the lies like popcorn, your supporters know their lies, and the neutrals are likely to listen to fact checkers.

Also, accusing someone of lying can make you look desperate, and allows Romney to say that the President has no ideas of his own and is falling back on ad hominem.

It is EXTREMELY difficult to debate someone who does so in bad faith and with a smile.
