I would love to see that douchebag Sanchez take a permanent vacation from the NFL. Tony Romo as well..

I would also like to see Tebow get a real shot as I think he's a good QB that might make an excellent one in time. I don't think Sanchez ever will. I realize he's over hyped and media blah blah has made him annoying but he seems like a good guy. Sanchez is a prick too worried about his prick to play football.

I bet most of the AFC East would also like to see Tebow get a real shot.

I would like to see Tebow shirtless more often. Possibly wearing even less.

An 8-6 QB who completes 47% of his passes for a career passer rating of 75.

A 0-4 QB who completes 57% of his passes.. Drew Brees 2012. A replaced mid-season QB who comletes 57% of his passes.. Brees 2003.

There are a lot of reasons why some QBs have shiat stats. That and the fact that he's green in the NFL and if he doesn't play he's going to suck regardless. He needs a solid year on the field to mature and get some confidence. Give him a year and then give him shiat the next year if he's still throwing crap stats.. He hasn't had that opportunity. Brees had 4 years to really get his feet under him. By the way I'm not at all comparing Tebow to my man-hero Drew Brees.. I'm just saying give the kid some time.

Or not Submittard. The article actually says there is no evidence of him saying or even thinking anything. This is all speculation based on his past interjections. Heck, maybe he even learned something from the past about not putting his nose in where it doesn't belong.

I have tickets to the 11/18 Rams-Jets game in STL. Honestly, I'd rather see The Tebow.

You do realize that even if he was as good as Peyton Manning was in his prime, Tebow is still going to look like hot garbage this season, right? The O-line is...well, they're on the field at least, they don't have any receivers, and Shonn Greene is the running back. Even channeling the power of the holy spirit, Tebow will likely end up looking worse than Wheedon, if such a thing is posible. Unfortunate, as I'm a big fan of the guy too.

The circus began the day they signed him. Eli Manning with his 2 superbowl championships, was the 3rd most popular QB in NY since the super bowl. It's quite pathetic.

Giants bring championships, jets bring clowns.

Though I shouldn't complain too much, considering I just picked up Kerley in Tebow's anticipation.

I suddenly felt a disturbance in the force. It's as if millions of bible thumpers were screaming "Thank you, God!" with cheerful glee.

Their coming.

Why would they consider Tebow? Mark Sanchez is a top 10 quarterback.

2012-10-04 01:16:04 PM
For the sake of the argument, let's say that Tim Tebow will be a great quarterback in the NFL. Even given that, the Jets signing him was a stupid move. You don't commit to one QB as your franchise QB, then immediately sign another QB who will start a controversy if your franchise QB stumbles.

A well run franchise understands this. But the Jets are a clownshow.

Tebow can never fail, he can only be failed. To his fans, he will not get a "real shot" until he has 21 pro-bowlers surrounding him, 4 consecutive seasons as the starter and Urban Meyer has his coach.

Tebow had plenty of chances. He's not a QB. He's something, I just don't know what.

Sanchez is vastly superior, and I don't even care for him that much.

Russel Wilson of the Seahawks has the worst passing game in the NFL right now. They're abysmal. If it weren't for Lynch, they'd average abotu 9 yards total offense a game.

And a bunch of second and third year guys as well. Of all the tebow stuff I hear the one that galls me the most is - 'he hasn't had a chance'. He's had more chances than most. And there are better qb's who have had fewer chances still riding the pine throughout the NFL.
