Fatties will use any excuse in the book. Once the "big boned" thing got disproved they jumped on the thyroid problem bandwagon. I'm still waiting for a scientific explanation about where these magic farking calories come from when you have a thyroid condition that makes you put on 100 lbs. Because, you know, that 100 lbs wasn't caused by a 200 calorie a day excess for 5 years.

This all has reminded me of a college professor who was really, really large. She used the elevator to get to her office (on the 4th floor) and to get to class (most were on the 2nd and 3rd). I was in the first class of her teaching day at 9:55 am. It was those days I would see her come into the building as I was on my way to my 8:50 class which was just down the hall from where we had our 9:55. As I hoofed it to the stairwell, she would take the elevator like clockwork for those three days of the week. Another guy was in both of my classes and he saw this too. He had the bright idea to test her ability to use the stairs. He went to class early that day for our 8:50 and put a "ELEVATOR OUT OF SERVICE" sign on the elevator door. Walking to class I noticed her walk up to the elevator with a discouraged look on her face. I kept on my way to my 8:50. Class was over, went down the hall to my 9:55 and there was a sign on the dry eraser board that said "ALL CLASSES CANCELED TODAY FOR PROFESSOR S". Shaking my head, I turned to see my classmate with a shiat eating grin on his face.

If you have a professor that uses an elevator and don't feel like going to class, give it a try.

My favorite part of that whole video is how she said she has think skin and the letter doesn't bother her, but then she gets so visibly upset that she starts losing her breath. I swear I thought she was gonna start wheezing. That would have made laugh so hard I would have peed my pants.

Considering the premise of the letter was rude and basically asking her to stop being fat on TV, I thought it was nicely worded and professional. She was neither.

She took time out of the farking news to read the email aloud like a teacher who finds a class note about themselves.
She went into a long, self-righteous, soapbox speech about how she won't be brought down.
Her brother is a movie star who lends her his support.

So, at this point, I don't GAF that she's fat. There are a ton of more annoying reasons why she's intolerable.

She's a local TV anchor. By definition, she's attention-whoring at at least a Class-A level. If she has any ambition at all (and her opening salvo suggests that she does) you have to figure she's a solid AAA-prospect.

Her problem is that the random guy she elevated to infamy turned out to be a Major League attention whore. Like, a franchise player attention whore, maybe even an Attention Whore All-Star in his good years. And, of course, the only way he can get attention in this situation is to be more of a douchebag towards her.

Tough break, but just walk away, lady. All you can do now is pour more gasoline on the fire you're standing in.

There was no bullying that took place. I thought the letter she claimed was written by a "bully" was quite polite considering the subject. She over-reacted, because she's fat and doesn't want to go on a diet, and used a news broadcast as her personal soap box. Now her famous brother is stepping in to put an end to this non-existent bullying. Sorry someone you don't know had enough concern for your well being, and the younger viewers who MIGHT view her as a role model of sorts, to send you a letter hoping that you start making better life choices.

And I'm sorry you're such a fat cow that you can't see concerned criticism for what it is.

It's not like the dude wrote a letter to her full of "get some lip suction you disgusting sow, last time I saw something that large I was yankin on it's udders.." Get over it you overly sensitive manatee.
