(The Consumerist)   Facebook's redesigned help center hinges on novel idea of actually helping users. Careful there, Facebook, you don't want to start a trend or anything   (consumerist.com) divider line 9

Redesigned help center to go along with the still laughably awful timeline.

Can't wait to see what's next for Whitenoiseechochamberofkidpicsandfarmvilleinvitesbooktm

Wow. It will now actually tell you how to report the death of a user so that your dead friends aren't turned into perpetual spam machines.

Yeah, I hate viewing stuff with the most recent items first, and certain things called out as highlights!

Also - From Help

Why am I seeing stories about people I'm not friends with in my news feed?
You might see posts in your news feed from people you're not friends with if your friends liked or interact with that post. Note that we only show you someone's posts if they are set to Public (anyone) or Friends of Friends.

Nowhere does it give you an option to NOT see shiat about people you don't know in your news feed

Not just friend suggestions. My dead friend kept liking Romney campaign spam.

This is the lowest of the low that Facebook are doing - sending advertisements to your news feed then claiming that one of your friends like it, despite your friend never having been to that page, or not having logged onto FB for weeks - Just send the ads if you must, don't lie about it and make my friends look like teenage arse-holes by actually spending time liking things when they are way into their 30s!

Every time I want to know how to do something in Facebook, I go to Google and type "how do I X in facebook", and it takes me straight to the appropriate Facebook help page.

I treat Facebook like the politics tab, it's fun but if you believe what gets posted there you are an idiot.
