Doesn't "Skydiving pyrotechnics" sound like a less plausible explanation than aliens.

I WANT TO BELIEVE!

These people always crack me up. I went to school with one of them and she was an incredibly hot chick. It didn't work out between us but I think I might have dodged a bullet. Every text message she sent had a footer which said something about aliens existing. But damn, she was hot.

I take it no one else sees the same banner ad at the top that I do:

WANTED: Topless, Female Dungeon Master Needed for Bachelor Party

I have been looking to join a D&D group in the Cincinnati areas, but they don't specify what edition they are playing.

Aliens do exist. They just have the good sense not to visit this balkanized planet with opposing factions holding thousands of nuclear weapons, people willing to blow each other up over what amount to doctrinal differences regarding religion, and more xenophobia that you can shake a stick at.

Well, mostly because the odds of one intelligent life form developing a sufficient form of space travel and stumbling upon another intelligent life form makes the event entirely improbable.

It's more likely UFO's then farking skydivers.

What's the big deal about aliens? We're flooded with them here in Texas.Of course they don't light up the sky, unless their chutes catch on fire.

'Cincinnati Lights' UFO Mystery Solved; It's Skydivers, Not UFOs
So the Unidentified Flying Objects are not Unidentified Flying Objects? That's good news.

EVERY UFO...every one...has either an commercial explanation or an explanation regarding natural phenomena. The probability that those sighting are or alien origin is 0.

Na. I do have a plan to one up them that I have been keeping up my sleeve. Ah well, may as well share it:

I have multiple contacts in multiple cities across the US. On a designated day and time (all time zones need to be in the dark) we are launching weather balloons tethered to the tops of large buildings. Inside each balloon there will be multiple different colored LED lights. Once the balloons have launched we will start notifying anyone and everyone via twitter and face book with pics and point out the fact that it is happening across multiple cities at the same time and OMG WTF?! should kick in from the general population rapidly.

/I am just not sure how much trouble I can get in for doing this so I haven't sent the word yet.

Of course it's not a UFO, by definition after you identify the object it's not a UFO.

As I said. Not sure how much trouble I can get in, and if someone really gets freaked out and takes their own life.. Don't want that on my head.

Nope, it was even on an ep of "Fact or Faked"

Seriously, given the amount of sci fi movies and whatnot we've been exposed to, if an alien craft actually landed I don't think anybody would give a shiat. I'd probably be amazed for about ten minutes if I saw the story on the news, and then switch over to Breaking Bad and forget all about it. Not kidding.
