Not a bad start to the season at all. :)

Like I said Sunday, the Eagles game was a fluke. With the Cards, when we win we barely win & when we lose we lose big.

But hey, we're still top of the NFC West.

Division rivalry. Might as well be "no holds barred".

9 sacks! HAHAHAHA!

I'd like to go back to my original statement:

And then there were two the 72 Dolphins are going to act like douchebags against.

And that's final. ARI 3 - 17 STL. There's something almost poetic about ending on the worst kind of sack.

Well, shiat. My opponent had Greg the Leg, Finnegan and Chris Long. I had Calais Campbell.

I'm down 43.00 - 2.00.

That's what I get for betting against the home team.

What the hell happened to the NFC West? They used to be so awful.

No shiat. Right now they look like the strongest division in the NFC. Their right up there with the AFC North.

I'm a Rams fan and my mind is blown as well. But I'm lovin' it!

The league that I used them in is some crazy scoring ESPN thing where typical scores are 400-350ish with ten roster spots, and the D put up 97.

It's going to be an interesting season in that division, and whoever wins it will be well prepared in the play-offs. That was something the 49ers didn't have in the early 90's, they played an easy schedule during the regular season, then got killed by the Cowboys in the play-offs(who played a tough schedule during those years). They weren't prepared. Whoever wins this division(I'm not crowning the whiners), should have that mentality for being ready for a rough game.

In an effort to get some enjoyment from tonight, that was a trap game.

rickythepenguin: .I think the cards will lose this one because the Rams can score, and while the D has been getting chirped up, I think our luck catches up to us and rams pull a mild upset. Spesh on the short week for us.

not srue of the over but I think on the order of low single digits; 28-24.

it isn't easy being Fark's Football Master but it is a crown I wear grudgingly. soem are born into football mastery, some achieve football mastery....some have football mastery thrust upon them.

while wrong on the score i knew this would happen. the thing that will be fun is how -- as much as i hate power rankings -- we will fall precipitously from, you know, 4, 5, to like 11. off of one game.

yes we got revealed. the vaunted defense is overtalked but not overrated. time for the O to step that shiat up.

Dafatone: It's almost as if DIVISIONAL GAMES ARE CRAPSHOOTS LIKE I YELL IN EVERY GODDAMNED FOOTBALL THREAD.

I'm kinda happy now that it's just a situation where everyone in the NFC West has won their home games in division games. I'm sad that my team has to start out with all three road games before they get the home division games, though.

And with the Amendola injury, StL is pretty much boned for the long-term, so even though they just moved ahead of Seattle in the standings, they just lost ground to them. (Sorry Amendola owners and Rams fans, I somehow got my hands on him and started him this week, so I blame myself for his injury).

Also, I really don't understand why Fark, a place that loves IRL trolls, wouldn't LOVE Cortland Finnegan? That was f*cking brilliant what he did on that play where the idiot announcers were saying he was flagged (if you looked at the replay, you could see the flag for the hold was there well before Finnegan's non-penalty). I can also see why he pisses people off. "Hey, QB's out of the pocket, this is one of the few times where I can actually touch you beyond 5 yards..." *shove out of bounds*

That's a vet move and that's why he's valuable to the Rams. Might not be the best player but he might be one of the smartest and most willing to get his ass physically beaten if it'll help the team.

Um, the AFC has the Browns, so the NFC West is the best by default.

TRAP GAME!

Let's look at the losses:

Arizona lost to the 3-2 Rams
San Francisco lost to the 3-1 Vikings
St. Louis lost to the 3-1 Bears and the 1-3 Lions (dammit, should've held on to that one!)
Seattle lost to the 4-1 Cardinals and the 3-2 Rams

San Francisco beat the 2-2 Packers, 2-2 Jets, and 1-3 Lions
Arizona beat the 2-2 Seahawks, 2-2 Patriots, 3-1 Eagles, and 1-3 Dolphins
Seattle beat the 2-2 Cowboys and 2-2 Packers
St. Louis beat the 4-1 Cardinals, 2-2 Redskins, and 2-2 Seahawks.

Damn, they've got 10 wins over teams that are over .500 against everyone but the NFCW. And of their six losses, three are in-division and two are against teams that would be over .500 even without that win.

COME AT US, BRO

Packers look down, Jets are not a .500 team, Lions have reverted back to the old Lions, the Patriots are on the downslide, the iggles just suck and will wind up under .500, the redskins are average......

Bottom line is that its too early to draw any conclusions of this type, give it at least until week 8.
