He is always in favor of them, subby. Being in favor of them is what allows him to be against them. You cannot oppose that which you do not understand, and you cannot understand that which you oppose.

What's his stance on tiny, American flags for all?

2012-10-03 11:00:46 AM
I don't think a major policy change the day of the first debate could possibly be helpful.

Unless the goal is to get Obama to laugh so hard and for so long that he can't study up.

This is what I find most amusing. Rather than field a moderate candidate that could siphon disgruntled, independent voters away from Oblahma, the GOP decide to go the full retard route, and cater to the 28% knuckle-draggers.

then he will be against them the next day.

the only thing he never flip flopped on is tax cut for the ultra rich. that is the only thing he really stands for.

He's not even running as the "not Obama" candidate properly. Romney needs to differentiate himself with ideas people might want to vote for, and he just isn't.

Instead of choosing the popular Hispanic Senator from a swing state with his own version of the DREAM Act for Romney to endorse, Romney chose the white, polarizing Congressman with a toxic budget plan, and then endorsed Obama's DREAM Act?

It would be better if Romney and Republicans actually supported the Dream Act, rather than half measures by executive order.

But if he indeed is committed to comprehensive immigration reform that is a good thing.

Obama found a new voice on same-sex marriage and deserves praise for that, just like Romney deserves praise for this.

Soo, he's finally tacking back to the center a bit. I wonder if right-wingers will be sufficiently outraged to sit this one out or pull the lever for a 3rd party.

Off to freeperville.

In honor of this decision and National Hispanic Heritage Month, I propose we name October 3rd the National Spray Tan Day.

Today, we are all Mexicans.

For the record, I believe it's customary to have the acronym part in all caps rather than the word which stands only for itself. Also, as someone currently reading Gaiman's Sandman comics I'm assuming this is relevant to my interests.

Blackface.

I doubt you'll get anyone to believe a republican is going to help them out after the election. Then again you have plenty of middle class and poor republicans so maybe it'll work.

Wait...yesterday in the "questions that should be asked during the debate", several people said to ask Obama why he hasn't initiated immigration reform, and now Romney is saying that he won't rescind Obama's immigration reform? Hokay.

It's so cute you think a candidate that has flip-flopped on practically every major issue this election cycle would be committed to something he said pre-election yesterday.

Good for him. I always thought that it was very shortsighted of the GOP to marginalize Latinos like that. You have to be willing to show empathy for people and put yourself in their shoes if you want to make good policy.

To: Laissez-faire capitalist

You could show me video of Romney in bed with 3 whores and eating live puppies and I would still vote against Obama, a white hating - country wrecking - constitution destroying - lying socialist - homosexual loving - corrupt organized crime boss - anti-American - incompetent epic failure - arrogant Black muslim bastard son of a communist whore.

This election continues to be about the very survival of America and the future of my grandchildren.

Obama and his filthy tribe MUST be removed from the Peoples White House, PERIOD. The theft of our country MUST BE STOPPED.

Romney did not really say it. Responding to a Globe request to clarify Romney's statement to The Denver Post, Romney's campaign said he would not grant new exemptions after taking office. That means the number of people who would benefit from Romney's position could be minute. "Mitt Romney has made it clear: He would not continue the administration's policy that provides temporary reprieve from deportation for young people who were brought here through no fault of their own," said Gabriela Domenzain, the Obama campaign's director of Hispanic press. "This is unacceptable.''

You have to realize: teabaggers believe that they are the silent majority in this country and that the only reason Obama won in 2008 was because most people stayed home because McCain wasn't conservative enough.

And if you think its bad this year wait until 2016 when they nominate the bastard love child of Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann.

You do understand Obama doesn't get to allocate the money required to close Gitmo, right? He can only use the money allocated by Congress for specific purposes. Right?

I thought he did that when he painted his face orange and then through a tantrum on Univision because he didn't like the way he was introduced? The crowd he bussed in and paid to clap for him really seemed to like him.
