CBS ruled the nursing home demographic in the 80s and 90s. Even if no one is watching the TV stays on.

Hmmm... I read that as "Doc Johnson" and thought it had to do with delivering paper bags full of dildos to the set.

I remember Nash Bridges. It was the show that America was watching on Friday nights, leading to NBC's cancelling of Homicide: Life on the Streets, which aired the same time.

Great judgment, America. Keep up the good work. (sarcastic slow clapping)

Nash Bridges wasn't that bad. Pretty good ensemble cast for a TV show, actually.

Fark was around then, though it was still in its infancy.

Lived in San Francisco when that show was on, so I watched it occasionally just to location spot.

The show took itself just seriously enough, poked just enough fun at itself, and was fun. Too bad it was cancelled: THE FARKING CURED ALZHEIMER'S ON THAT SHOW somehow.

I've watched part of one episode of Walker: Texas Ranger and recognized every street they drove on. The part of Dallas where Chuck Norris wouldn't go after dark.

Why the hell did Don Johnson get that money?

Cheech was the main reason for watching the show.

I'll say it ... Nash Bridges was a pretty good show. It was worth watching.
