I haven't watched the video, but it appears as though Ron Jeremy makes an appearance (3rd screencap in TFA). Lulz, indeed.

Its not him; he's way too young & thin. The moustache is probably why you thought that.

This is why the video camera was invented. +1

First time I've seen something that was funny on Funny or Die. I'll be damned.

I'm puzzled. Why would she need to buy camera equipment for this? That's like saying that Elvis would LOVE to make an album, but he just doesn't have a recording studio at the moment.

Boo. I thought it looked a little caricature-esque, but I attributed that to video-blur (in the still). I figured between FunnyorDie and Bar Rafaeli, they'd've been able to get him on board. Who knows: maybe he'll be the lucky winner/co-star?

Scam?

If the video was for real, how many people would actually donate?

If they found Elvis alive and well and he wanted donations for a studio to make a new album, how many of his fans would pay?

How about I give her $1,000, and she can use the same camera that was used to shoot this video.

Or none at all; I'm fine with that, too.

The problem with "supermodels" is they're shiat in bed, shiat in the kitchen and leave shiat in your bank.

Outside of that they are NOT hired for being sexy, they're hired for being manipulable starvable idiots.

Not saying they're all dumb, mind you. They're hired for idiocy.

i've briefly dated some runway ones and pretty much agree. things got quite boring, fast. the materialistic factor isn't with all of them, but the industry is plagued by it; so naturally all their 'work friends' were of that shallow trait. oh...and sex with a 7 who's fun is a lot better than with a 10 who is practically starfish.

These guys only wanted $20,000. They got $923,680. Link

"A $1,000 donation puts the benefactor - guy or girl - in a drawing to be her co-star."

If this was serious, I think that would constitute both prostitution and gambling. And if the partner was chosen by drawing, one should hope that people who can afford to contribute have more than just money to spare.

That was pretty damn funny. I liked the running numbers. I think it would have been better without the people in the background, though, that's just me.

That's what I'm saying. If she really wanted to do this, lack of owning a camera would not be an obstacle. Say the word, and a camera would practically appear out of thin air. Even an Arri 35mm if she so desired.

One has to wonder.. how would the numbers have changed if it was Summer Glau who wanted to produce said video....
