The cheesecake she prepared in the first episode contained 7,069 calories or 583 calories per portion.

One of the desserts featured in Nigellissima, her new BBC2 cookery show, is a chocolate hazelnut cheesecake which contains more than 7,000 calories.

Ill never be a skinny girl. If I am, people know I'm sick. I am at an "acceptable" weight . I have boobs that are snuggly, an ass that is smackable and a soft lap. I work out, I eat right and still I prefer to be juuust cushy enough.

And that is reason enough to listen to her rather than the army of dieticians and weight loss experts who complain about her food.

Live well damn it! It for pleasure when you can and if you want to cook with butter then go for it.
If you need to go for a run from time to time, then go for a run. That is a better option than staving yourself. But, rather than driving to the gym for a run on a treadmill, walk through a park, walk to work, grab a spade and plant a vegi garden.

I bet she uses butter as lube. Just takes a stick, rubs it all over, and tells you to poke whatever hole you can find.

Here's a clue: You don't look at desert calories by the overall, you look at the per-portion numbers, morons.

Secondly, what did you expect? Rich foods that taste really good also tend to be not all that healthy. IIRC, it was Bourdain who said something like "my food tastes better than yours because I use more butter than you do"

Lastly, "twitterati", subby? Choke yourself.

If by natural ageing you mean living 37 years in a war zone in the desert then sure.
I'd suggest though, that what you have there is the other extreme.
