The chart included with that article makes me believe in government ineptitude to the point of paranoia.

Godscrack: I'm angry at people who use Twitter.

It's definitely a good source for doing a personality profile on an individual, many other sources are needed as well. Criminal background checks, W2's, work history...

All radicals are human beings, therefore, by the same logic they're using, anybody who is human is a potential terrorist.

Which is technically true.

This would be great for the correlation/causation thread.

So basically at this point if you're not on your knees blowing Jesus whilst waving an American flag you are a radical/terrorist.

After RTFA I would have to say no.

NicoFinn: A number of those traits in the "personal issues" column are ones that could be exhibited by a person suffering depression. So, your depressed colleague might be a terrorist?

Also, from the third column,"Verbally indicates hatred for the United States and/or the Constitution." This is a slippery slope that can and will be construed at the drop of a hat anytime someone simply criticizes policy or cultural issues here.

No me gusta.

Most people in government verbally indicate hatred for the United States and/or the Constitution.

More likely if you are on your knees blowing Jesus whilst waving an American flag you are a radical/terrorist.

Are you young, angry, and use Twitter alive, breathing and conscious? The DoD thinks you're a terrorist

Fixed.

The DoD thinks everyone is a terrorist. The NDAA defines the US as an enemy war zone.

Does 31 qualify as "young?"

Not that it matters - I'm already on every government watch list there is.

Would a large, well-armed organization consisting mostly of physically unattractive people conditioned by temperament and lavish funding to continually see real and imagined enemies everywhere constitute a terrorist group?

FTFA: "inquires about weapons of mass effects."

So if I suggest that the M99 Saber is the best damn assault rifle in ME3 on twitter, I'll be tracked by the DoD?

/really, nothing beats the M99 for stopping power
//can take out an atlas mech without a reload
///might need the armor-piercing ammo upgrade though

The left side "Personal Issues" section sounds like a lot of commenters on the Politics Tab.

Actually it sounds like a lot of You-Ess-Aye Pundit Fanatics.

nice how that works out.
if you DONT use social media, you are suspect
if you DO use social media, you are suspect.

dear government:
just fark off and die already would you kindly?

Dear DoD,

People who use Twitter and facebook aren't terr'ists. They're sheep, lonely, self absorbed, and think the world hangs on their every wet fart.

They will happily follow any idiot's delight, bargain basement trend that is on teh internetz over a cliff, and wouldn't care about Gov. shenanigans if you torched their poodle. As long as you didn't take their iPhones.

These are your wet dream Good Americans.® Now stop all this sh*t and go play with your missiles.

Funny, I thought it sounded a lot like Fox News.

And then there is the middle section, where we need to watch out for "extremist views," "rallies for extremist causes," "Exhibits extreme religious intolerance," "Rhetoric is more intense and concentrated," and "Attempts to recruit other to extreme causes."

Now they're talking about the Tea Party.

Suddenly acquires weapons.
Organizes protests inspired by extremist ideology.
Advocates violence as a viable option for various situations.

They are hoping to GOD, that some organized group of batsh*t loonies starts taking to the streets with riot rifles because they're running out of scarecrow props for security theatre, Inc. and iGagets are getting boring.
