Hey, it works for airplane toilet sex.

Don't blame me that we're still alive baby. I told you, I heard the pilot say the wing was coming off. How was I supposed to know he was talking about his chicken dinner?

2012-10-02 01:27:26 PM
I saw footage of this the other day... the look on the girl's face while she was in the midst of thinking she was plummeting to her death was horrible. What he did was bad. And he should feel bad.

I don't think that would inspire me to say "yes."

Just saying.

Definitely better than that one guy who faked a proposal and crashed the plane.

2012-10-02 01:29:27 PM
After she said yes, she should have nosedived that biatch (aircraft & girlfriend) into Lake Michigan.
Would have saved himself a lot of trouble.

Hold up now, his set up was flawless, it was the execution that ruined him. Eh, well....she'll take care of that.

I would like to biatch-slap that attention whore. One never does something like this to a passenger. However, I think they are both AWs and that the whole thing was staged. Their divorce will be uuuuugly.

I saw this about a week ago, and I also saw a follow-up where they were together and laughing. Oh haha, yes, I thought we were going to die, and then we got engaged, hahaha. But it's cool because we're in looovvveee.

JackieRabbit: Their divorce will be uuuuugly.

That.

Hahaha that was awesome.

And headline is misleading subby. He didn't fake a crash, he faked the controls not working.

I'm a pilot and I would never, ever have done something like this, when I was still flying. I appreciate that most people have never flown on small planes. I may have fooled around with another pilot on board, but with passengers, it was nice and easy and no surprises. I always let the passengers know what I was doing and what to expect.

Or a domestic abuse shelter, hey sister, wink wink nudge---oh wait. It's OK, he's just here to tell me how much he loves me. I'm sure it'll work out this time.

/not intended to be a factual statement.

2012-10-02 01:54:17 PM
Also seems like a good way to tell her he wants a divorce.

2012-10-02 01:57:49 PM
I'm sorry, but when I saw this I immediately said what a dumbass idea! Yeah, she is a surgical resident used to "stress to kill you." Still, NOT a good idea... WTF was he thinking? Rhetorical question since I heard his in-depth, but still dumb, explanation. I would question his possibly control-freak latent skills and/or humor after saying he wanted to give her a surprise wedding. Not cool at all, dude. File this under "dumb pet tricks" except that is offensive to all creatures big and small. Then again, maybe they deserve each other.

Awkward moments that could only happen on TV or in the movies:

Faking a plane dive to pop the question.

She changes her mind when the airplane levels out.

Whoops! Here we go again!

Well executed, not OMGWGTDIAF!

If the girl doesn't have a sense of humor which is at least a little crass and dry, she's not going to last long.

Naw, he won't do it again... he's taking meds now and, and, learned, and you know, grown as a person and stuff. He'd never ... Oh... well, he won't again, he like, promised.

She should have kicked him in the balls, told him to shove the ring up his ass and filed a complaint with the FAA to get his pilot's license yanked.

/ I don't approve, in case that was not clear

First time i have seen this. I was going to ask about the FAA thing. He had to file a flight plan, but wouldn't air traffic control be monitoring his radio? I know he probably had it off where it wasn't transmitting other than in cockpit but even so and even if she doesn't file a complaint, can't the FAA take matters into their own hands?

/wife watched it with me was like oh how sweet and I was like you say that now but what if that was you in the copilot's seat? *****crickets

Because you didn't watch the video.

Like Odd Bird pointed out it wasn't OMG!!!!!! Nose dive as the headline would suggest.

He calmly faked a mechanical issue, Then had her check the manual (where she found his proposal).

Don't be such a tight-ass. This is almost as cool as the guy who got a beej from a porn actor in his helicopter, while he was flying it, and then posted it on the internet. For some reason, he did lose his pilot's license. Bunch of tight-asses.

I am outraged. By wasting my time on this link NOW, I'm missing all the fresh, new stupid stories that have come out in the 15 minutes, stories that I could be digesting right now, so that I could make fun of anyone who comes upon the story after me. Haha, turds! That story you don't even know exists yet has already been seen by countless people on the internet! You're so behind.

The proposal isn't what makes him a douchebag. What makes him a douchebag is that he put that stupid video, complete with the annoyingly bland music, up on YouTube for all the world to see. Does he, and his bride to be, expect the internet to rise up and proclaim the greatness of this proposal, and by extension, this couple? If so, have either of these people ever even been on the internet?

The fact that they put this stupid shiat out there for the world to see proves that they're even dumber than his Wallyesque haircut.

I had a friend whose then-boyfriend began his proposal by making her think he was going to break up with her. She'd been crazy about him for years, they finally started dating and a year later, it was still clear to them both that she was much more into him than he was into her. So it was "funny."

Anyway, the way she told the story: He kept repeating, "I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore" until she finally accepted that he was really breaking up with her. As she cried hysterically, he stepped in with a loving "I want to be your HUSBAND." And she joyfully and tearfully accepted the proposal.

As she told me this story, beaming, it was all I could do not to show how disgusted I was. Happily, she eventually grew a sense of self-worth and divorced the guy. She now agrees with me that that proposal sort of epitomized everything that was so farked up about that relationship.
