Lets see what happens when polls become election results.

"Massive election fraud exposed as the results match the skewed polls!"

Yep. This unskewed polls nonsense is laying the groundwork for their further refusal to accept reality.

The beginnings of a tautology: the election was fixed because it didn't match the unskewed polls, which we know to be accurate because the election was obviously fixed.

I'm wondering if Romney or Ryan will reference them during their concession speeches or shortly after. I think Romney will accept it, but I could see Ryan making a huge stink about how the election was "stolen" from him. He's already been whining about the media lately, so he's already in excuses for defeat mode.

Yep. I hope he goes rogue before this is all over, because you know the campaign is keeping a tight leash on him so he doesn't say something horrifying. And he's got that in him, seeing as how he sponsored a fetal personhood bill with Akin that made a distinction between "legitimate" rape and other kinds.

Conservatism is dead. So is liberalism.

We do have two versions of statist farkwittery who are dressing up in their clothes, though.

Since those elections, Democrats and the liberal media have been in total denial, enabled by skewed and biased polls to continue reporting with a straight face their foolish narrative that the Tea Party and conservatism are dead and that a majority of the American electorate wants four more years of Obama.

listen up you primitive screwheads - it's not that American 'wants Obama', its' that we are a two party system and Obama is the only sane option on the ticket. Romney is so horribly bad in so many ways that there is simply no other choice for voters....nobody wants a pro-corporate vulture capitalist theocrat for president. Or an any rand worshiping grover norquest blood cultist like Ryan as VP.

This was inevitable. There was no chance they were going to accept a second Obama term as the will of the American people.

I think at this point, we should just take it as a given that the conservatives will never accept a Democrat winning the Presidency as legitimate

After they did it in 2000 they realized how easily it can be done.

OK, new rule. Every time one of these "biased polls" threads gets greened, I will be posting Nate Silver's "Now-Cast" for that particular day.

Depending on the admins, this could get repetitive, but I think perspective is a good thing in threads like these.

Assuming that Obama wins, I expect the response to be "Well, you Liberals biatched and moaned that Bush stole the '00 and '04 election. Now you're saying that there was no fraud this time and that 0bama didn't steal this election?"

Exactly where I was going. And precisely what killed the otherwise innocuous ACORN. Obama's victory was de facto evidence of wrongdoing.

But Obama's tending down the past two days. If you extrapolate that line through November 6th, BAM! Electoral college tie.

The TEA Party are NOT Conservatives. They are radicals, plain and simple. Radicals on the Right, and increasingly authoritarian while apparently looking to shed any way to pay for that authoritarianism save borrowing heavily from foreign sources. These radicals are far from dead, but they are looking to throttle the life from the party, all the while screaming "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" and call that Conservatism...

The Tea Party movement is alive and well. And that's partly why we can say Romney's chances of winning are slim and none.

Any more to the right and they'll come full circle to being radical liberal leftists.

I really don't see that happening. If a contemporary Republican shows any concern for endangered species, it'll be what kind of wine to serve with it.

The political spectrum does not work that way!

Even at their most reactionary, the current batch of Republicans will not start advocating equal redistribution of wealth and land, universal healthcare and education, and nationalization of natural resources.
