Wiping your ass with paper instead of washing with water is disgusting when you think about it.

What's funny is she admitted she *still uses paper towels* - to dry her cooch/ass off after going to the toilet. Sure, it's a lot less than if she didn't use water/soap and used toilet paper exclusively, but still. Taking frugality to a whole new level of crazy there.

Is that soap free? Because toilet paper is so relatively cheap that unless you are using free soap, you're probably coming out about even.

Preparing your own food is the healthiest, most cost effective thing you can do. Example - roast chicken dinner night 1. Leftover chicken is either prepared with alfredo/pasta or made into chicken salad for lunch. Carcass goes into a crockpot with leftover veg and spices to make stock for soup or frozen for future use. Stock up on staples when they are on sale, etc. Simple really.

I don't understand why washing oneself after using the bathroom instead of wiping with paper is such a weird concept to Americans. Billions of people around the world use water instead of paper. However, this woman is disgusting for showing her act on tape and going into detail using such language like "taking a dump". She could have just discussed it in a much more sophisticated way. Also saving six dollars over not doing laundry is utterly retarded.

I suspect she's using a hell of a lot more water to wash her clothes in the shower, and they're going to be distorted and ruined before long unless she also has a mangle. And by the look of her, that's exactly what's happened.

Agreed that 'dump' is a classless term. That said I took an assignment where I could work from home most days, then jokingly told the guys in the office they'd still see me everyday when I came in to take dump because it would save me on toilet paper.

In all seriousness though, how much time does it take to her to save $6 a month. 5 minutes per day to wash clothes in the shower x 30 days is 2.5 hours a month for $6. That time would be better spent calling up and fighting your cable/internet/phone bill monthly it would take less time and save more. Or get a second job on the weekend.

That just seems excessively nasty. Yes, sure, once the appocalypse arrives luxuries such as toilet paper and nice warm water and lenor lavender and mandarin clothes conditioner may be hard to come across..

But till then... Who in the hell could,no would live like that from choice? that's gone beyond frugal and thrifty and into downright 'icky'.

And seriously, you can buy a 6 pack of toilet tissue for 99p. That doesent exactly break the bank. If you really think that's expensive you could still use the 'one up one down and one for polish' mentality to make that ever so precious roll of paper last that little bit longer.
