Still has skin like a football. But the 'smoking hot' thing isn't entirely misleading. I'd hit that.

I knew a girl who was making the transition. When I knew her as a boy I found him stuffy, prone to cleaning everything, and it took me a year to get him to say three words to me beyond an order (I was running a comic shop at the time and s/he was there because of the manager, Dave, was a gaming buddy, but orders were my department). After s/he started really becoming a she it wasn't any different except her hair looked like she was prepping for a Woodstock reenactment. Cleaned everything relentlessly, but was a capable gamer until she just panicked and ran off (word from Dave was heat stroke, but we only gamed at night. Might have been summer and that upper room had a tendency to heat up). We did have a militant lesbian in the group (who was in love with Dave and everyone saw it but her), but I never saw any clashes between them.

I knew another that I didn't know had a penis until after her father found out he had two daughters, just one was so trapped s/he could only express herself on the internet. I don't talk about her a lot, I'll just say I wish the "It Gets Better" campaign had started much earlier.

So the reporter wrote a fairly nice, evenhanded article about a transwoman who is a model parent, integrating successfully, and being totally open and honest with her well-adjusted kids, and the Sun's editor decided to randomly bold and capitalize the words, DAD, AGREE, HORMONES, HIPS, BUST, and GIRLFRIEND to add a half-assed sense of shock and scandal? That's really phoning in the whole "tabloid" thing.

It's a good thing as the only reason I can suggest (the kids) seems to be a non issue then this really worked out well.
