Old enough to know better: I honestly always liked Arby's. I just don't eat their often because to me they're just too expensive for fast food.
Znuh: Have you seen how their meats arrive at each Arbys? It's a bag of meat slurry. That then has the water evaporated off, and the resulting meatclot is then sliced. So, no, it's not 'fresh' in the traditional sense, it's yet another joint that sells fast food, cheap.Well, i'll be damned. Snopes just illustrated this as a hoax. Found out when looking for images.Sigh. /Reluctantly puts on Arbys hat
Godscrack: The new logo has no character at all.
bdub77: Jesus Christ that new logo is awful. By awful I mean completely unoriginal and basically the same design. Oh wow you didn't capitalize it, now it looks so different!! Seriously, did some bored company executive come up with that playing around with Photoshop?

The Flexecutioner: then recently tried an 'everyman' jingle with the good mood food stupidity.
poot_rootbeer: I'm thinkin' Arby's......will be joining Roy Rogers and Rax in that great roast beef sandwich franchise in the sky within 5 years.
The Flexecutioner: i used to really like their Arby's sauce back in the day. It has some spice, some zip to it. Now it is sugary and less spicy. And the horsey sauce is pretty much mayo.
Smeggy Smurf: After the great fart incident of '98 I'm not allowed to eat their beef and cheddar sammiches anymore.
SpinStopper: The Flexecutioner: i used to really like their Arby's sauce back in the day. It has some spice, some zip to it. Now it is sugary and less spicy. And the horsey sauce is pretty much mayo.I thought maybe it was my imagination, but you're right. Too bad, too. Both made you really choose what you wanted, and now it's more meh. Grrr.

dinwv: Arby's around here is *meh* anymore, but it's Wendy's that has truly fallen into shame. Used to love me some Wendy's, but across the board their food is terrible anymore.Spoke with a manager about it, he confirmed: this summer ALL their vendors were changed. The meat\buns\veggies\EVERYTHING sourced differently now. It's much cheaper crap, served in smaller portions with higher prices. The only thing they don't skimp on is salt. I don't go there at all anymore. It seems to be the way of the market in many businesses these days........... NEW and IMPROVED is definitely new, in no way improved.
jso2897: I ate at an Arby's once. I had a "roast beef" sandwich. It wasn't good.I didn't eat there again.
Iczer: cig-mkr: Old enough to know better: I honestly always liked Arby's. I just don't eat their often because to me they're just too expensive for fast food.THISDouble this. I love french dips and reubens, but they're not exactly cost friendly (and their reuben is a bit different than a classic one). And don't get me started about just a plain roast beef w/ cheese smothered all over it, love it when those go on sale for like $5 for 5...And those potato cakes...
