Biatch, this is MY bait canister!

Yoink!

The octopus: Einstein of the deep.

Loved the music! Because when I think oceanic research, I think Bluegrass.

A huge wave of fear and revulsion swept over me as the octopus swam into view. I had to turn off the video after about 3 seconds. I would make a horrible Fisherman's Wife.

Oh man, that woman's accent....I'll be in my bunk.

The audio in my head was going "See, you just gotta jiggle this little whatchamacallit right here and... Hey! Where d'ya think you're goin' Mr. City Shark? You just stay right here and we're gonna have us some fun later."

What was that little stripey shark? Some kind of nurse shark or something?

2012-10-01 03:01:14 PM
I find it even more amazing that the octopus never even really looked at the canister. It just felt around it the whole time and solved the problem through touch alone.

Um.....I think you have other barriers which would make you a poor wife candidate......

Teufelaffe: Oh man, that woman's accent....I'll be in my bunk.

That.

I wonder what made the water such a brilliant green color. I mean, it is no doubt algae, but there's got to be something discharging into the bay to produce such a bloom.

I certainly wouldn't kick her out of bed for filming octopi eating crackers.

I don't know, but after watching a screen full of bright green for 4 minutes, the background of fark looks red...

If you're not an Aussie and the Aussie accent doesn't stir your loins, you sir or madam, are dead inside.

Hideous video! Show it realtime with no voice and no music. Actualy the original video might be really good but the idiots that edited this can bite my barnicles. And by barnicles I mean NADS.

Change the tempo, add some synths, get a flock of seagulls, and you could have Blue Wave, which is probably more appropriate.

That was a cool video, but after staring at that for 3 minutes, everything else around me looks strange.

2012-10-01 11:14:33 PM
Yeah, the octopus totally 'solved' that puzzle... Or wiggled it's rubbery body on it until it got lucky your research team can't secure their rigs properly.

I stand corrected. The young woman in question, Lauren De Vos, is in fact from South Africa.

/I'd still be perfectly happy listening to her read just about anything.
