31 points in the fourth quarter is ridiculous. I'll actually be disappointed if Romo or Jay Jay steal The Jake from Fitzpatrick tonight.

I think the plan was to fall behind early so they didn't blow a big lead late.

I'm happy the Pats won and all, but, that's some seriously gutless f*ckuppery there, Buffalo.

When you give up 200 yard up the middle, you know it's going to be a long season.

Separate issue, but what exactly would have been the payout for correctly predicting the current NFC North standings? It's got to be better than a million to one.

Me in the first half: Aw hell yeah, I'm good with having to play the Patriots this year. Great year to have them roll around on the schedule.

Me in the second half: Aw sh*t.

My brother, a 30+ year resident of the greater Buffalo area's status yesterday: "Another great Sunday afternoon on the mountain bike NOT wasted watching the Buffalo Bills!"

I grew up there, but moved to Philly in elementary school so my dual allegiance to the Bills/Eagles made it through about the "0-4 in Superbowls" era until I decided to just stick with one disappointing team. I really feel for the Bills' fans. They haven't had jack sh*t to follow for years!

Amazingly enough, he still racked up 30 points on my bench in my fantasy league.

I knew what would happen the moment that Spiller fumbled on the goal line. You can't afford to give up scoring points against the Patriots.

This, that game was like every Bills season for the last 5 years in microcosm. First half optimism, with a little bit of uncertainty (the fumble), then a raging storm of clubdickery in the second half leaving a taste mouth similar to old ashtrays and Mad Dog 20/20 vomit.

I love the Bills.

/Seriously though, I am starting to understand why Red Sox fans hate the Yanks so much, the Pats are doing the same horrible things to us.

Starting? I've been bent for a decade, now. And it isn't like the NFC East where one team will have the other teams number for a few years- this has been routine since 2001.

When old Ralphie kicks off and the team moves to LA, my suffering can finally end.

I saw an interview a year ago where Jim Kelly said he has the investors lined up to buy the team as soon as "it becomes available" a.k.a. Ralphie kicks it. The thought of ol' Jim running the show warms every single one of my cockles. I have a fantasy that he would ride in with Phil Hansen at his side and start kicking ass all over the AFC East.

Sigh.

That made me smile. The guy going against me having Tom Brady and Stevan Ridley beating me by 6 points does not. 0-4 a happy camper does not make.

The worst defense in the league did about as well as the worst defense in the league would be expected to do against a decent QB.

Time was, I would've ranted and raved and probably gotten very drunk after a drubbing like that. But I've grown so callous and numb to the Bills' ineptitude. About midway through the 4th quarter during that putrid display, I did the only thing that made any sense. I turned off the TV, laid down on the couch and slept for two hours.

So you don't know anything about football, can't recall events watched by even the most casual of football fans less than a year ago and you come into a football thread to talk shiat? Go back to your knitting circle, Edna misses your tales of yore.

More the "completely inept offense in the first half/unbending destruction in the second half" part. It could've been against anybody.

fark you, biatches.

The score is 20-21, so this is right after his 4yd rushing TD. The play went to automatic review, not sure if he said this after the call was upheld or before.

Born in Manitoba, I've always preferred the cfl to the nfl. I love the play clock, bigger field, almost everything. Yes the players skills are inferior to the nfl, but there can only be one best league.

Not a fan of the rouge though. I think it should be tweaked. Punts that end up in the end zone gets the receiving team a point. Don't reward the team that screed up. Same thing on field goals.

Looking forward to the bombers stadium next year where we will be 3-15, but at least we will be comfy!

Hmm, I always thought that particular quote has more to do with something being advertised as "incomplete and broken" up until the moment that you attack, only to fine that it was working perfectly all along.

Being bumbling fools for 75% of the game only to win with an awesome offensive push in the end would make the Patriots the Jar-Jar Binks of the NFL.

Yes, because it was a 45-point second half, thereby adhering closer to the source material and making it funnier.
