Treygreen13: Coach_J: I'm looking at the paused image on my DVD and I'm saying he purposefully spun into his blind side instead of stepping up (he's got room) or scrambling to his strong side which he can clearly see.

In other words...Tony Romo makes questionable scrambling decisions constantly.

And water is wet and the sky is blue.

No, you're totally right. Tony makes horrible scrambling decisions. That's why he's so easy to sack. Everyone is always like, "Tony Romo is a terrible scrambler". Guys are always like, "I had Tony Romo dead to rights and he rolled right into another defender, like I knew he would."

Look, you can dock Tony for a lot of things. Scrambling ability is not one of them.

Ability isn't decison making. Of which Romo is sure as hell not known for.

Stop being so obtuse.

Then let's be acute. If you think Tony Romo makes poor scrambling decisions regularly, you're a moron.

Lets be unbiased here. I charge you with keeping a running total of Tony Romo's scrambling decisions tonight, judging each one to be either good or poor.

For all his faults, and they are legion, EmoJay has a comparative cannon for an arm. He's like the Anti-Peyton.

His assertion was that Tony Romo *always* makes bad decisions on scrambling. Something demonstrably not true. He's been (his entire career) behind a nearly non-existent line. If you were to go look at Tony Romo's 20 greatest plays, 19 of them would be after shuffling off some DB. He's got a lot of flaws but it's the one area of his game that he's one of the best at.

When a QB dodges out of the way of a sack and is met by *another* player, who was rushing from the outside in, you don't look at him and judge that because of that he's always been bad at avoiding pressure. He avoided 1 sack attempt already on the play.
