Well then, bring Favre in to QB the team. He couldn't do worse than Sanchez or Tebow.

2012-10-01 09:40:18 AM
Good outlook, coach! Did you take the team for pizza after the game and give out 'I participated' stickers?

2012-10-01 09:40:23 AM
fark this team.

2012-10-01 09:43:06 AM
Oct 8: Houston
Oct 12: Indy
Oct 21: @NE
Oct 28: Mia

So probably 4-4 at their bye. After that, they're @Sea, @STL, NE, Arizona, @Jax, @Tenn, San Diego, and @Buff. Again, smells like 4-4, giving them an 8-8 overall and probably missing the playoffs.

Yeah, sounds about right. It'll be W-L-W-L through pretty much the whole season, not bad enough for them to do something crazy like start Tebow, but not good enough to matter. Rinse and repeat next year.

Ryan is done after this season, thankfully

Worst article ever, Rex Ryan would say Fark a lot more.

Lost Thought 00: Ryan is done after this season, thankfully

You have to wonder about that. For a guy who loves to shoot his mouth off, he doesn't consistently back it up. It must run in the family - Buddy Ryan had the same problem, and Rob Ryan is doing the same thing here in Dallas (though Rob appears to be toning it down a bit).

Screw Farve, just bring back Namath.

As a niners fan all I have to say is summed up in the following, eloquently, reasonably thought out statement:

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!" *Falls off chair*

/go 49ers!

Last time I checked, Buddy Ryan most certainly DID back up what he said, and has a ring to prove it.

bring back Rich Kotite.

2012-10-01 09:56:21 AM
FTFA: Even backup QB Tim Tebow attempted a pass, as Ryan has a strict "everyone gets to play" philosophy.

That is some weapons-grade snark right there.

I hate the farking Jets, but that wasn't even a funny mock article. Besides, there was plenty of comedy in Rex Ryan's actual press conference after the game.

As bad as yesterday was, I can only imagine the massacre that the Jets will incur against Houston next week. Added bonus: It's a Monday Night game, so the entire country will be able to witness the home crowd chanting "Tebow!, Tebow!, Tebow!" after Sanchez starts out with 5 straight 3-and-outs.

As a Jet fan. Let me say F them and their GM who led them into this mess. We have taken a good foundation of a team over the past 5 years, and ruined it. Let key players go, and kept flashy, yet terrible ones. We deserve this game we do.

That said. Can you really post a headline that uses a quote that is 100% fabricated? That seems? Pathetic. Kind of the like the Jets. Maybe thats part of the joke?

2012-10-01 10:23:42 AM
Enough with the Jets already. Seriously. They are irrelevant - despite what ESPN has to say about it.

2012-10-01 10:26:37 AM
I'm just glad, as person who lives in Phoenix, I get to watch a Ryan fail miserably at being a coach. Har har har har dee har har har.

Uh... could you point out what great successes the Jets had that Ryan's two playoff appearances, an 8-8 season, and this year are such a dropoff?

I never thought I'd say this, but Tebow might be an upgrade at quarter back. Sanchez just looked awful out there.

Sanchez missed a lot of wide open receivers in their pathetic win two sundays ago. They could have won that by 21 with a decent QB.

Sanchez is 63/128 on the season. That's 49%.

What they need to do is trade for Colin Kaepernick. He's a much better running back.

Apparently some of you didn't read the website address that TFA was from....profootballMOCK.com....

/fark the Jets...and fark Rex Ryan too. Glad to see it happen to that fat, toe sucking windbag and the team's equally fat and windbaggy fans (won't invoke the "toe sucking" thing on the fans, cuz theirs hasn't been made public like Ryan's has)

ummmmm....about that. Buddy Ryan is the architect of arguably the greatest defense in the history of the league. He stood up to Ditka, and told him to fark off when Ditka tried to take credit for it.

2012-10-01 01:17:53 PM
Rex Ryan would have to lose 8 more games before he would be a career .500 head coach.

Yet people are calling for his head.

The problems, in order, are the following:

1) GM who is a beancounter, not a talent evaluator
2) Owner who wants headlines
3) Quarterback 1 who is an idiot
4) Quarterback 2 who is a fullback and refuses to see this
5) Quarterback 3 who is the best of the three and can't play because he opened his mouth
6) Head Coach who has a big mouth
7) O/C who runs up the middle 100x a game. I can't begin to tell you how man runs I saw up the middle, no sweeps, no nothing. WHY?

Fire Tannenbaum first.
