This might be the perfect Cruise movie.

Collateral's the only movie I can think of where Cruise dies (spoiler). Didn't see Valkyrie so I don't know if he dies in that.

Weird! I know a guy who knows a guy that has been asked to attend a casting for this, but he doesn't know if he's going to go.

Also, I bet if they literally titled this film "Tom Cruise Dies Several Times", it would end up the top grossing film of 2014 (if that's indeed when it is slated to come out).

for some reason, Emily Blunt just does it for me in a big way....It's not like she's some drop dead gorgeous woman, but just something about her makes me likey...

Hey look, I actually have a copy of the book. Unfortunatly it's already in the warehouse. With all the work I'm behind on getting books into the warehouse I half expected it to still be here.

You know, because every time I sit to get some items ready for warehouse I wind up on Fark.

This sounds like a must-see feel-good movie of the year.

Having just discovered the utter perfection of Emily Blunt(saw Looper), this is relevant to my interests.

I heard from some guy on fark that he's definitely going, and that he's going dressed as Emily Blunt.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw the guy who was asked to go to the casting pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

"All You Need is Kill"? Sounds like some straight-to-video action movie from the 80's.

I'm actually interested in watching this movie and I don't hate Tom Cruise.

Halfway through the Last Samurai I started rooting for technology to overthrow the smug samurai bastards and their honorable feudalistic system. There's gotta be something really satisfying meeting your peasant ancestors in the afterlife and telling them you put a bullet through the face of one of those exploitative coonts.

The title sounds stupid as hell, but the premise sounds pretty farking cool. But, I love time loop stories. And aliens. And time looping aliens.

The movie Dark City was more or less Groundhog Day with aliens.

Next summer, Tom Cruise stars in... "Milk milk lemonade, around the corner murder is made."

(Cannot recall what thats from... MST3K maybe?)

I loved that one!

"I am Myron Castleman! I am God!!"

Awesome show. Wonder if it's online anywhere. It's been years since I saw it.

I've seen Emily Blunt in quite a few things, from Foyle's War, Devil Wears Prada and Young Victoria and Sunshine Cleaning. Even VA work in Gnomeo and Juliet. But as hot as she is, she does not cancel out Tom Cruise

That was the first instance of that type of time loop story I'd ever seen. I credit it for spawning Groundhog Day AND Yesterday's Enterprise... and every other copy afterwards. I'm sure somebody can point to a book that used a similar trick, but the filmed versions very closely resemble one another.

It sounds like a good plot. Too bad they chose Cruise though. I can't watch anything with him in it. He annoys me too much and it ruins the movie.

Will there be a scene with him running? Possibly away from an explosion?
