Hardly . If it hadn't been stolen to use at parties, I'd think the local frat houses etc. were remiss.

The model was stolen last Saturday evening and photos of it have appeared on social networking sites, including appearing at several house parties since being stolen from the shop in Shafton, Barnsley.

Disrespectful. Simply disrespectful.

Old hotness: traveling garden gnomes. New hotness: cardboard law enforcement agents.

We had a Colonel Sanders stolen from the local KFC in Mizuho making the rounds on Yokota AFB back in the early 90's. Creepy fella had a missing left foot from where they had cut it from the chained tether (ironic that, the Colonel chained by his ankle to a cement block so he wouldn't "take a walk") and palid green skin from exposure to light and pollution. Despite his ghoulish appearance, he was quite the party goer if you believed the pictures that were circulating at the time.

Mine was getting it on with my Captain Kirk cut out. Not sure if it was because it was due to subby's mom being easy or Kirk's cut out being awesome.

Try this. Click on any of the people.. Then print the body shot and paste onto cardboard. (Unless you have a 3D printer, then you need to call their IT people.)

Voila. Your own UK supermarket person cardboard figure of your own chosing.

The next town over from me had something similar in the early 90s. Someone stole a Ronald McDonald statue from the front of the local McDonald's and left a Polaroid of him tied up and gagged in the back of a pick-up. A couple of days later, they sent another picture of him, still tied up & gagged, with a ransom note: If you want to see Ronald alive again, leave 5, 283 Chicken McNuggets at [some address] by 8pm tonight. And don't forget the barbecue sauce or the clown gets it." They even sent cops to the address but nobody showed up.

Ronald reappeared back at the McDonald's the next day wearing a grass skirt and sailor's cap. They never caught the clownnappers.

How do you not notice people shoplifting numerous 6' cardboard figures? Do they make pockets that big?
