I have been a Mark Martin fan since Davey Allison died. I never thought I would say this, but I am hoping for a Brad Keselowski Championship and I f*cking hate Miller Lite.

It was that Watkins Glen battle with Marcos that put me firmly in his corner.

Let's go, Smoke!

Dover?

If it's anything like earlier this year....... but anything's better than last week's snooze fest

Race starts after 2 right?

Cool, gives me some time in the NFL thread! And here's to hoping that He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, Gordon, and Evil Opie can collect themselves up in a race-ending for themselves without injury wreck without taking out Smoke!

No NFL but we have this long fark of a headline.

I'm with ya!

His qualifying always gives me headaches, but the dude knows how to get to the front in a hurry.

Yeah, when he qualifies well it scares me, it usually means something bad is gonna happen to him during the race, when he qualifies in the mid-20's he seems to find a way to get himself in the top 10, unless his car decides that it wants to take the race off.

Go Smoke! Go Junior!

And may Danica be in position to get taken out by JPM, simultaneously ruining JJ and Harvick's day - that would be swell!

Oh I like that. Go, um, let's see, since my guys are out of the chase, go Hamlin and/or Jr., I suppose. ABJ. Anybody But Johnson.

Oh man, a 7.4 earthquake was reported in Columbia.

I know nothing of his personal life or if he still has family there, but if so, I hope JPM's loved ones are okay.

Aw crap. I'm probably going to miss the race today. It's a strange feeling, but I find myself pulling for BK. Alas, I will be sitting on Carmel beach drinking fine wine and checking the race on my phone.

Have fun everyone.

/go Jimmie

Yesterday's Nationwide race was so damn boring! I hope this one has some action and excitement because these "Chase" races have been awful so far. Shoulda just run them at Watkins Glen, Sonoma and a figure 8 track the past three weeks.

I'll agree with this. But Dover is a beast all its own.

If someone other than Bruton Smith owned more than half the tracks, and quit building 1.5 mile cookie-cutters...

It's nice of ESPN to interrupt the commercials with some race coverage every so often.

don't expect a hell of a lot out of me today (obviously).
Niners are playing, and I have a truck to fix. Stupid alternator.

Okay, got the race on, 2 football games streaming the other to flip to during ads. Let's do this!

Maybe you could smuggle the bad one down to NC and sneak it into the 48 garage for use in the next race?

Your dedication is admirable. It's fun to see how much people can juggle this time of year.

I've got Jr. on HotPass, the NFL RedZone Channel, the Panthers game, and both threads open. I had twitter on for a while, but it was getting to be too much.

Heh, yeah - I could have Jr on my phone and Twitter up, but the two threads are enough. At least it's halftime so I can get my feet under me here.

Anyone got any beer?

Didn't buy any this week. I have a cold and figured it wouldn't go well with the DayQuil. Next week I'll make up for it, though.

Kyle to the lead, who will spend his time up front solely doing research to help Denny in the Chase.

Absolutely! ESPN needs to stop showing race-ial interruptions and do more of those thrilling commercials! Sprint Flag needs to be out soon!
