Those little bastards are part of the 47%. Fark em.

Well, considering the GOP has been reduced to a party of crying babies who throw tantrums in Congress when they don't get their way, seems about right.

Oh, and I've seen that ad, and think it's complete horseshiat, but it isn't as bad as the Romney ad with a mother telling her newborn daughter how farked she is because she was born under the Obama administration, which makes me have to biting on rawhide to keep from screaming at the TV "WELL WITH MITTENS AS PRESIDENT, BIATCH, THEY WILL TRY THEIR BEST TO MAKE SURE YOUR DAUGHTER WILL BE RELEGATED TO SECOND CLASS CITIZEN, HAVE NO CONTROL OVER HER OWN BODY, AND BE FORCED INTO A KITCHEN WHEN NOT BEING USED AS A BROODMARE!!!"

That one makes me want to defenestrate my TV.

Because we just had a huge thread not a day or two ago chock full of pictures of Obama holding smiling, happy babies and Romney looking uncomfortable with human interaction.

As to the ad, though, if times are so tough for this woman, her husband doesn't have a job, maybe they should've taken some personal responsibility and not had a baby they couldn't afford. Right?

I know, let's get a picture of me holding this baby. Since this is Mitt Romney, you can pretty much guess how this turned out.

Lots of baby/candidate pictures.

What? No! She's a woman. It's her godly duty to spit out as many babies as possible whether or not she can afford them. But of course, after they are born, that biatch and her litter are on her own to get bootstrappy.

What is it with candidates holding up other people's babies? It's really trite and a little creepy.

Because it's illegal to shake them.

In the ad, the woman goes running to forget her problems. Not to exercise or stay in shape, she runs because Obama failed her.

2012-09-30 10:40:19 AM
Brilliant ad. Since the mother is out jogging in a $200 track suit, pushing a $300 stroller, it's pretty clear the family hasn't hit rock bottom yet, even with the father unemployed. The implications of this ad are that these past four years have been rough on the jobs market, but thanks to the social safety net we have in place, this family hasn't been reduced to poverty. If her biggest worry in the world is a "hope and change" slogan from four years ago, she's doing pretty well all things considered.

2012-09-30 10:45:38 AM
And she seems to have plenty of free time during the day to go jogging with the baby. Maybe less jogging, pick up a second shift to make up for your slacker husband.

Try to imagine if the Dems had put out this exact same ad about a Republican incumbent. Now, imagine that mom & baby are black.

That's why you give them to politicians. Let the candidate take the rap for Shaken Baby Syndrome.

The most offensive thing about the ad was that it was created by:

the conservative super PAC Americans for Job Security

Whose job security? China's job security or India's job security?

At the very least, she's married to someone who worked for Bain-owned companies.

I'm so glad I don't live in a swing state. I don't have to watch these ads at all. I feel sorry for the Farkers who live in swing states. And white lightning's still the biggest thrill of all.

In a number of ways: because Romney is dead in the water and nothing about him really appeals to his party, because Obama is being an adult and having none of this nastiness stick to him, and because the Republicans cannot fight back when the Democrats act like adults.

2012-09-30 12:08:36 PM
So, at this point, how many Romney staffers have been sitting in Fark threads as prep for the debates?

Seriously. These cats have been about two steps behind the curve so far, and at this point, they seem to be looking to address weaknesses that have already gone meme-worthy. As opposed to addressing them before they go there...

Notice all the Romney baby pictures Romney holds the baby up like a prop, and frequently puts a sticker on the baby. Obama actually cuddles and has a compassionate look in his eye.

I said that same thing, nearly word for word when talking with a buddy on Friday night. He said something like "Ya know, I couldn't quite place it, but something seems forced and unnatural when I see pictures of Romney and a baby. Could never quite figure it out, but you're right, it's like there's no real connection. That's really weird considering he's a father." Don't remember word for word, was kinda drunk, but you get the sentiment.

I know, csb. But beyond that I think all those pictures of Romney and babies don't sit right with a lot of people, even if they can't quite figure out exactly why.

/becoming a father only requires you get your dick wet
