Few things are harder than conceiving a great gag for a big rock group. Almost everything you come up with has been done before. It's part of the territory.

/currently taking submissions for a NYE gag

Pamela Anderson was heard to comment on Tommy Lee's great gag.

Lee uses drum kit stunts during the band's shows and on their 2011 tour; he was seen turning upside down as he played.

Lee was doing this shiat back as far as Theater of Pain. Hell, for Girls, Girls, Girls, his kit was basically mounted to a forklift, raised in the air and spun 360 degrees on a horizontal axis. The next time they came around, he was spinning on all three axes... I'm pretty sure he didn't need to rip off some drum engineer for an idea that had a natural progression, and I also find it interesting that the guy waited over 20 years to get butthurt.

Can see it in the video for Wild Side.

Also has his name in the phone book. Things are going to happen to him now.

Oh is this the thread where talentless hacks shiat on someone elses skills whilst having none of there own? You are in the midst of one of the greatest rock drummers of all time and all you can do is focus on his trainwreck relationships or big shlonger? Did Neal Peart ever play live upside down? Did Dave Lombardo? Danny Carey? No? Well i guess that makes Tommy Lee better than all those so-called rock drummers that FARK seems to adore.
It will be easier for you to accept if you go through the 5 stages, You are already at stage 1, DENIAL. stage 2 is ANGER, and i wont get into the other steps because i can't force you to come to these realizations, you have to walk through that door yourself.

Dude gets a permanent pass from me. He was farking Heather Locklear when she was hot and horny. And from everything I have EVER heard about her when she was in her prime, she was a blast to be with, both in and out of the sack.

Yeah, yeah, hair band. Yeah, yeah she's old now or she's in rehab. I don't care. Permanent pass.

Tommy Lee is one of the greatest drummers to ever see in concert. Whether he is playing drums upside down, while spinning, on a roller coaster, or while taking a tour of the concert venue from above the crowd, at least he aims to entertain. I'm not a fan of the shiat that he likes to play during his drum solos these days (electronica/tribal music), but the mofo always puts on one hell of a show.

Now, FARK, tell us again how Neil Peart invented the drum set. No, no, we're not bored with this story at all. He's clearly the bestest drummer in all of the worldy-world. After all, he's from Canada! And all of the bestest musicians come from Canada! See: Justin Bieber.

Before MC, Mick Mars' old band did the spinning drum kit stunt.
Accuser will get diddly squat. Where's the patent and licensing rights for his idea?

Frivolous suit. As mentioned above, he's been doing this longer than he's been accused of theft.

Also, no need to bring Peart into this, as no one is making a comparison, so FOAD.

I don't even know who Neil Peart is. I will therefore assume he is not metal, but rather he plays grandpa music.

People like Neil Peart, Danny Carey, and Bill Bruford don't NEED to play drums upside down on a roller coaster spinning around in order to draw attention to themselves. They make whomever they're playing with play and sound BETTER. It's called being part of a BAND. You might want to look that one up.

I don't have time to look anything up, i'm finishing up details on a few "End of the world" shows in December i will be performing at along with Hansel und Gretyl and DJ J Devil. Anyway I never said the guy was a metronome, i said better rock drummer. This involves more things than just being a drone behind the set playing polyrhythms between hands and feet. It also involves SHOWMANSHIP, which is also part of being in a rock BAND. You might want to look that one up.

No, he needs to put down the sandwiches. dude has to be pushing 400 pounds.

And Lee is a godly player, Subtard is likely a tone-deaf hipster.

Say what you will about Mötley Crüe but Tommy Lee is an outstanding drummer for that kind of music.

And yes, White Horse, Mick Mars' precious band had a rotating drum kit. I've seen the video.

So what you're saying is that you just watch a band's showmanship and don't listen to the music? You've obviously never seen TOOL play live. Or any other band that relies on music instead of gimmicks for that matter.

Likes showmanship=doesnt listen to the music? Hope you don't pull a muscle making that stretch. and uh, i havent seen Tool since they were on the 2nd stage at lollapalooza back in 93. Once they started being played on clear channel radio, all their songs started to sound the same. Nothing new or creative, they found the "edgy" sound that made them profitable and stuck with it, kinda like Nickleback.

In the year 2012, if you hang out at any frat house with a bunch of bud light swilling douchebags, you will have just as good of odds of hearing Nickleback being played in the background as you would Tool.
