Hold the bus!
Dinodork: Meh, crocs. Tiny still when compared to mosasaurs. I installed the marine skeletons in Ft. Peck, MT a few years ago. The skull on the brown one (Sophie the Tylosaurus) is about 5 1/2 feet long.[img.photobucket.com image 800x600]
Gergesa: Bah!!! You call that impressive? Get back to me when they find something that can fight the mighty sharktopus.

Fluorescent Testicle: I'll take giant pliosaurs like Liopleurodon any day. Liopleurodon kicks ass.[files.truedinos.webnode.com image 350x180][2.bp.blogspot.com image 350x231]
germ78: In other news, a new theory about the extinction of dinosaurs was put forward yesterday saying that their extinction was caused by a Crocostimpy pressing the bright shiny candy-apple red erase existence button.
born_yesterday: A bit of an aside, but the ancient creatures that fascinate me the most aren't the dinosaurs. For me, it's the giant insects of the carboniferous. Forget trying to imagine those things flying around (no seriously, forget it), but the way the environmental differences at the time allowed them to grow so large. The metabolism and energy involved in flight, how they breathed...how they must've hunted. I'm not scared of bugs...but, I mean, these bugs were scary! In any case, good to see people getting their geek on.
Tainted1: Is that anything like a crocoduck?
