I noted in the comments that some people knew the (unreleased) name of the victim.

'I walked into Target, but I missed. I think the entrance to Target should have people splattered all around. And, when I finally get in, the guy says, "Can I help you?" "Just practicing."'

When I submitted this (with tacky headline) I knew there were some on here who would snicker a bit. A bit better than the comments I got on my facebook page when I shared it there about it being too soon. If you read the entire story though, what is worse my warped sense of humor or the fact that the story writer added "No one knows what triggered the shooting.

/But then again we are talking about KFOR here and any OU journalism student will tell you, KFOR's mantra is "If it bleeds, it leads" Same station did a flyover of a car accident involving a semi the other day and the body hadn't even been removed from the car.

Police have one suspect in custody and said they are not currently searching for others.

Authorities have not released the identities of anyone involved.

No word so far on what may have triggered the shooting.

In other words:

Something happened
Then something else happened
Then something else

Yeah, getting the details of a news story before you report it is so overrated.

It always goes, "The FAA has not yet released the cause of the plane crash that occurred an hour ago."

Why not? Another guvmint coverup?

I clicked on one of the videos, and there was a blurb witha guy shooting a travel cup of coffee. *sigh* Sometimes the home state manages to depress me more than my usual misanthropic level.
