I misread that as Morgan Freeman, and now I'm hearing it in his voice.

Is it too much to ask for a full-size teaser poster?

www.empireonline.com

I know it embiggens with a click, but damn that's lazy.

It's more symbolic. Moffat wants people to need it like an opium addiction

Release date is in 2013.

Mayan calendar stops at 12/21/2012.

Something tells me we'll never see the awesomeness they're filming.

Have never heard one of those names before now.

Love the two together. Love Peg in almost everything he's done. Has frost done much seperately? Don't remember him well.

Who's the third tosser?

And wtf is up with the titty sprinkles meme?

Frost was great in Attack the Block and Pirate Radio (The Boat that Rocked everywhere not in the US.)

Nope, the meme came before that, as evidenced by the fact that the guy is saying the phrase as Morgan Freeman only because so many people asked him to. So where did the phrase come from?! Who was the first person to connect "titty sprinkles" with Morgan Freeman?!? The mystery goes unsolved.

Several things are about, that are predicated on Morgan being able to say things that will sound different, just because it's him. Like XKCD's Freemanic Paracusia. The Titty Sprinkles pic is fairly self-explanitory.

Similar to Letterman's Top Ten List recurring theme: Things/Words That Sound Cool When Said By ________, with the actual person coming out on stage to say them. My favorites were Barry White, James Earl Jones, and Giant Robot with Optimus Prime. Oh, and Top Ten Numbers, with Casey Kasem.

Last saw him as a random dwarf in some movie. Snow White and the Huntsman I think. That was a real WTF movie.

I still don't even know what this film is about. The best I can find is Wiki summing up the plot as a pub crawl that ends up being more than a pub crawl.

I'm looking forward to this film regardless, I just can't believe how little information is out there about it.

Considering who the cast is, and considering, say, Hot Fuzz, that's probably as accurate as you're really going to get. They're sort of known for delivering 'uh, what?' movies.

That rock.

I don't know about that. Their movies are pretty easy to sum up and give you a good idea of what to expect. The joy is in the execution.
Shaun of the Dead: Zombies. Pretty much tells you what to expect.
Hot Fuzz: Overachieving cop gets reassigned to a quaint little town, where not everything is as it seems. Also, Timothy Dalton.
Paul: Two geeks find an escaped alien during their cross-country trek.

And yes, they do indeed rock.

I prefer not knowing. I've loved everything Edgar Wright has done and Pegg/Frost are just a brilliant duo. I don't need to know what it's about to know that I'll be there opening day (or sooner, if they do something awesome like the traveling Hot Fuzztival again).

I like these Wright/Pegg/Frost movies fine, but they all seem to forget that they're comedies about 3/4 of the way through; the last act can be a tough sit. I'm never sure how to feel at the end of a parody movie that becomes what it's parodying.

And I have yet to see "Paul." (Hangs head in shame...)

Maybe over-analysing a bit, but there is actually a pub called The World's End in Edinburgh, and it's associated with a double murder. I wonder if they were aware of that or not.

I've already invested my time (and money) in the previous two films in which Simon Pegg and Nick Frost partnered, in which they came up with amazingly good plots with interesting and subtle jokes that require multiple watches to fully understand. I am sure this film will feature the same exquisite flair for story/joke writing and execution. Can't wait to see it.
