Cool, they are using ColdFusion! Looks like you left one field off and their form processing could not handle that.

That was it. Thanks!
I neglected to choose my answer to this one:

35. Which political party do you believe is more likely to compromise or sacrifice the interests of the country if it benefits the political interests of their own party?

I answered Republicans to that one. They will do every unAmerican thing to win.

I did too. The only thing I did to skew their unskewdness was claim I was a republican. After 2 or 3 questions I was completely honest in my answers.

I claimed I was a conservative Republican McCain voter and answered to the best I could make out what the questions were trying to ask afterwards. One missing word sometimes, I tell you...

dr_blasto: Smackledorfer: dr_blasto: Smackledorfer: You're the jerk... jerk: brianbankerus: Krymson Tyde: Weaver95: If anything, the closer we get to Election Day, the more apparent it is that Obama is not only losing, but losing big. The Obama campaign, and by "campaign" I mean members of the media and polling organizations, is trying to convince prospective Romney voters to believe that all is lost -- in which case, they hope, we will stay home.

I wonder how they're going to handle it when Obama gets sworn in for a second term? do you think they'll crack up completely or find a way to come to terms with a reality they've feared for 2 years now...?

I think most will find a way to deal with it, most likely though they will be yelling about election fraud and the need for more voter restriction. But I think there will be a few that completely crack up.

My friend had a great idea for voter ID laws... we require photo ID for everyone, but we only accept a passport.

That ought to silence the mouth-breathers.

I admit that voter ID laws are clearly an attempt to keep poor people from voting, but I cannot defend the right for someone to vote if they aren't involved enough in society to have a passport. If your worldview is so narrow that you cannot conceive of leaving the country, why should you have any say in the lives of others.

Thats pretty stupid.

At the very least, you'd have to admit it would be good for people to see a bit of the rest of the world. It would be healthy for them and, possibly, would provide a little heft to their American Exceptionalism and possibly reduce some of the insults directed at Europe because, well, soshalizm and atheists and hygiene.

Good for people to get exposure? Yes.

But a trip to europe ain't cheap, mexico isnt safe, and Canada isn't for everyone.

you can get just about anywhere in the world for about $1500. Cancun is only about $400 and isn't the murder-hole people imagine Mexico to be.

So you want poll taxes then? Got it.

I also think a college education would be good for people and aid in their voting decision. Perhaps that should be mandatory? Or perhaps a minimum of a B- in logic and history during high school?

Also, I find that 1500 number a little ridiculous. Are you not staying anywhere or visiting anywhere while you are overseas?

dr_blasto: /I'm not advocating requiring passports for voting

Oh, nm. I see now you were arguing with me for no reason.

A guy said they should be mandatory.
I said that was stupid and costs money.
You said I was wrong and that it was super cheap.
Now you agree that super-cheap is too much to require people to pay to go to the polls, and that it would be stupid to require a passport to vote.

Good talk.

I had a little trouble with "Which party is most likely to offer Amnesty to illegal aliens in return for votes." That's got logical fallacy written all over it. I expected the next question to be "Which party is conspiring with the Reptoids to put RFID chips in my teeth."

So I just shrugged and said "Greens."

Are you Republicans still trying to win?!?!

I think that's the saddest thing I've ever heard. . .

If I refuse strongly enough to believe that facts are true, they BECOME lies.
