Watching Aggie and Longhorns go at it has been about as entertaining as an episode of Maury.

I'm sure my life will now be infinitely better for not subjecting myself to such idiocy.

Well just because Texas A&M doesn't know to treat Florida like the jorts-wearing scum they are is their fault, they will learn soon enough how disgustingly obnoxious Florida fans are and treat them like the 3 fingered, 4 teeth distant relatives they are.

Typical Aggie hospitality. We treat all our guests well.

I love it when SEC fans mock each others' fan bases as being full of inbred rednecks.

I've heard nothing but good things from Georgia/Florida fans who made the trip to for the Mizzou/TAMU games. It sounds like the hosts were hospitable, even in defeat.

But let's not get caught up in the moment, it's gonna get ugly soon. Not this year. Probably not next year either. But I'm willing to say with certainty that by the time this year's class of freshmen graduate, the welcoming party will be over.

Seriously, if you want a picture of what the world's going to look like when the lovefest is over, just go find some Jayhawks and Longhorns and ask them how polite and friendly Mizzou and TAMU are. I'm an Alabama fan - all my friends at Penn State said that the Bama fans who showed up for the 2011 game at Happy Valley were all polite, respectful, guests. But they don't have to play Alabama every year. Ask Auburn or LSU what they think of those arrogant gumps, with their retarded victory taunt and their stupid menstrual team name and their legions of dirt-road alumni and their fake national championships and their overrated Dreamland BBQ. They've had over 100 years for the hate to brew. Give Mizzou and the Aggies their time - all it's gonna take is a few big games with a few shady cut blocks for the whole thing to turn sour. And I can't wait.

Yeah, am I supposed to take this seriously?

Next up, Mike Cox and Mac Hunt take us on a tour if improvements at stadiums around the SEC.

First off, fark all of you. There's your hospitality. Second, most of us assumed we would lose to Georgia and South Carolina. That's kind of expected when you're facing two top ten teams with an o-line held together with spit and duct tape. Third, fark all of you, we're getting paid.

People acting polite and courteous. It's too bad this is news.

For me the story served as a sad reminder as to the lengths some fans will go to pretend they are somehow share in the team's glory. I'm so sick of hearing "We sure beat those (insert your favorite derogatory term) today, didn't we?" We? Seriously? Is your life so empty of any type of accomplishment or interesting hobby that traveling great distances to watch kids who actually do accomplish something is somehow meaningful? That, because you are there you somehow share in the achievement? Entertaining? Sure. Makes me feel special or accomplished? Not a chance.

This guy is especially pathetic because of his need to sneak onto the field and be near the team. Here's an idea: how about next Saturday strapping on some running/basketball/golf shoes and accomplishing something for yourself?

Serious question. You don't mind losing the old rivalries? Im a Pitt fan and no Penn St was tough, no West Virginia now makes it real tough to care anymore.

Not at all. Nebraska is gone, Oklahoma and oSu threw their lot in with the Texas schools when the Big XII was formed, and fark Kansas. The Big 8 is long dead and that's where the rivalries were.

I have had a great time visiting opposing stadiums. The golden rule works. I had a great time singing rocky top in Knoxville. A coed let me do a body shot it if I promised to sing it.

What smack? One stupid player runs his mouth and now an entire state is trash talking?

Every Mizzou fan I know (including myself) is well aware we're in for a number of good ol' fashioned ass-whuppings every year. We're not under any delusions of grandeur of matching big machines like Alabama and LSU.

A good friend of mine (a Gator) went to that game and he pretty much said what this guy said with regards to how cool their fans were. He said Ole Miss fans were nice too when he went to a game there.

Georgia alum/fan here who, like many others, made the trip to Mizzou and was shocked at how hospitable the fans were. If I'm still puttering around Athens next fall, I'll be sure to get them as drunk as they got me (I spent less than $15 on booze [quality beer too, not piss water!] the whole weekend thanks to them). Not sure if I trust my fellow Dawg fans to be as cordial, but we'll see.

As trolly as you can be, I actually think the above comment should be reserved for my native state, WV, and not my alma mater, UF. However, I do admit the class of people in FL outside the oasis that is G-ville, can be dubious. I see Athens in the same light as Gainesville, an oasis of culture surrounded philistines (not a blanket statement, and yes, some people at both schools lack certain manners), but I've have had nothing but good times at Athens or at the "World Largest Cocktail Party">

Sorry, the entire state is horrible, I have seen more of it than I care to share, the state is wall to wall hicks and rednecks with small pockets of edumucated people in a few cities. The only reason Georgia ranks lower than the state of Florida in education stats is that we have a law that forces kids to finish school instead of dropping out at 12 like Florida kids do.

That we can agree on, when most of the people who work in your city live in another state then your city sucks.

I kid with UF fans but auburn and its surrounding areas are horrendous, at least Gainesville isn't far from the ocean, auburn has nothing ceptin a swimmin' hole.

I still stand by my statement that florida has more hicks and rednecks than Georgia ever dreamed of.
