CSB and a lesson.

After a monthly meeting, a dozen of us went next door to ice cream shop(unnamed, expensive).
Since I am a trained medico, I got a kick out of watching the idiot scooping ice cream. Insted of reaching far down into a near empty tub of product down in the cooler, clerk would take the tub out, setting the bottom of it on top of the other ice cream tubs to scoop the stuff. One look at the bottom of that freezer, and I was outta 'dere.
Next month, checked, yup, every one of them was sick later that night.

Speaking of a (maybe not so) lucrative market:
in probably completely unrelated news, I remember seeing a news report from Berlin (i.e. where this happened) some time during the last 14 days about complaints/negotiations about the city's budget for school food and that the amount they calculate per meal isn't high enough for caterers to deliver what's required.

Poor kids.

I've had this one Christmas...the vomiting got so bad that I had to keep a bucket by my bed side over night. At its worst, I couldn't even keep water down. Mercifully by the end of the next day, the dry heaves had stopped and I managed a couple of crackers. Took me a couple more days before I ate anything resembling a meal. *shudder* Aversion therapy is powerful.

That however wasn't as bad as the next Christmas...the vomiting only lasted a few hours, but then the diarrhea that followed that left me wanting death and being denied that mercy...my system finally finished purging itself after 4 days, and even after that my stomach was tender and I worried that anything I ate would run straight through me. By then I dropped something like 12 pounds and my 6 year old sister could have beat me up.
