Rejected prison food is good enough for our military, apparently.

/Didn't believe it until I saw it first hand.

TFA is not so much about prison food as it is about food grown in a prison, cooked and served by prisoners to non-prisoners. At least that was my impression. So enjoy your tomato bisque with organic croutons and ground glass.

Book your table now!

All my friends say my cooking is a 1st degree felony. Not sure why they feel that way though. I've had the food poisoning thing relatively under control for months now.

Oh look, you can also buy coffee mugs, aprons and books of prisoner poetry.

Came for the prison loaf. Left confused and unsure if still hungry.

I had to spend a weekend in jail once. Just about a month ago actually. The only thing I could stomach to keep down was the two pieces of bread with every meal they served. I traded the rest of my food for pieces of bread.

Does a spicy white meat like pimento loaf get a red pruno or a white pruno?

Bill_Wick's_Friend: Does a spicy white meat like pimento loaf get a red pruno or a white pruno?

Neither. The pimento is very strong, and to balance it out you need something more subtle. The orange pruno is what you are after here, especially if you are using plain white bread.

Oh great, this has devolved into a pruno snob thread. :)

I once told a girl I dated that the dinner I was going to cook for her was going to melt in her mouth. When she saw the meal the explained to me defrost.

My uncle complains that all they ever get to eat is turkey where he is due to a local turkey processing plant.

Has anyone actually clicked on the link to discover TFA isn't really about prison food?
