(Talking Points Memo)   Fox & Friends has reacted to Obama's surge in the polls as well as can be expected, which of course means claiming that the polls (including their own FoxNews Polls) are all part of a liberal conspiracy to disenfranchise conservative voters   (2012.talkingpointsmemo.com ) divider line

How The Right's Latest Conspiracy Theory Might Unleash a Wave of Domestic Terrorism if Obama Wins

If the right-wing whackos were to start a bunch of shiat because they believe "voter fraud" was the reason Obama got re-elected?

I would have to tell you honestly and confidently that I would be shocked, sir. Shocked to hear this.

I wouldn't be shocked at all. I've been saying this for the last three weeks.

But then, nobody listens to me since I gave Apollo the brush off that one time.

Do you think they want this?

If you're asking whether I think the peeps in this thread want that link, the answer is No.

If you're asking whether I think right-wing pundits are deliberately planting seeds of violent revolt, the answer is a guarded I don't think so. It's probably more about ass-coverage, although in some cases it's also the impenetrable right-wing bubble, where a world in which Obama does well in the polls simply does not exist.

The real danger is that political sides are now often chosen on moral grounds. The opposing side is not merely stupid or misguided, but amoral and evil.

Co-host Gretchen Carlson had another theory: "I do think there's a subliminal message in these daily polling things, which isn't always great for the voter."

After she said that I bet they told her "Ok Gretchen, that was a good try but for now on just keep your mouth mouth close, smile and keep delivering those panty shots like we pay you to do".

I thought McCain was going to win because of the silent majority and the statisticals.

PolloDiablo: In all seriousness, why does it piss you guys off so bad that some people might want to talk about things that you're not interested in?

This being a discussion forum and all, this bullshiat absolutely astounds me. It's like literally any topic of discussion is cool, no mater how banal or farking retarded it may be, but somebody mentions politics and you guys get your jimmies all rustled.

Thou doth protest too much, I think.
