I'm a bit amused that Ralph Reed has come out of hibernation recently. And at this late date.

2012-09-27 02:46:04 PM
Ralph Reed is and always has been a horrible little scumbag who should be hit squarely in the nuts with a doorknob in a sock.

2012-09-27 02:53:38 PM
What? Someone who uses bibles as cudgels hasn't read them?

I CAN'T IMAGINE THAT HAPPENING!

Ralph Reed missed the puberty memo.

2012-09-27 02:56:08 PM
Why is it that so many of these evangelical types (Ralph Reed, Joel Osteen, Jim Bakker, etc.) have the most punchable farking faces in the universe?

2012-09-27 02:57:38 PM
Ralph Reed isn't a Christian.

Right wing Republican "political" Christians AREN'T Christians.

The priest at my church when I was a kid had to disprove the existence of God using quotes from the bible. He said it was an easy assignment.

"The Devil can quote scripture for his purpose."

Reed is a Pharisee.

People who use their religion as a political guide often break the rules of said religion? No f*cking way.

FTFA: So, on line #7 of the Faith and Freedom Coalition guide, we find the words "Taxpayer Funded Abortion," with, predictably.... a "No" under Romney's.

Fact: Romneycare includes taxpayer-funded abortions. Politifact claims this is because of a 1981 Massachusetts Supreme Court ruling rather than Romney himself, but provides no evidence or citation to back that up.

American Christians are worthless to pretty much everything on this planet.

For every decent one I meet, I also meet a dozen bugfarking crazy ones frothing with hate and demanding the special rights their fairy tales need to legalize their bigotry.

Every source I've seen so far says that Romney wants to abolish abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or if the woman's life is in danger.

Oh yes, and abortion is now a legal right, it wasn't always. It's a modern invention.

I can easily see Reed in a meeting with his carnies, shrieking about how Palin took all the good marks in '08 and how "this year we are NOT going to be out-grifted!"

My dear and venerable friend, if you wish to oppose viewpoints opposite to your own, at least do the proper research. No, it's not okay, the fundamental thing about Christianity is that, if you accept that God is real, came to earth in human form, lived and died and rose again from the grave as the final sacrifice, all with historical and prophetic evidence, then you are subject to the things God says are right and wrong, no excuses. You have to try and change. Someone who continues being a 'Christian' without a change of lifestyle, or without at least understanding that what God says is law to Christians, is likely going to backslide and turn away from the faith.

/Also, do you understand that the Jews in the Old Testament sacrificed animals because that was the penalty people deserved for every and any sin? It's that bad- though, of course, if you ain't a Christian, keep on playing your favorite song, we're not supposed to judge you. And Christ chose to die a terrible death because he didn't want Gentiles (anyone who's not a Jew) to go to hell. That's how bad of a place hell is. So, please put some serious thought to matters of life, death, oblivion, damnation, eternal salvation, and another world after this one is destroyed, a paradise for people who want to be there.

For posting this stuff on Fark, I'm either that, or I am so serious about wanting people to have salvation, about people having understanding of the evidence to make an informed decision, that not only here nor there but in everything that I do, I share my 'faith' which, to me, is solid fact.

Please, my friend, consider how liberality creates chaos, and that moral truth is beyond humans to calculate, because we simply disagree about it.

Why would God demand someone destroy part of his creation, or offer any sort of blood, to try to woo him to forgive others of something? Seriously, he's a God, as if he needs any sort of catalyst to act.

That's like not forgiving your child for breaking a dish unless he kills the family cat, or tears up your rosebushes or something.

Skywolf Philosopher: Every source I've seen so far says that Romney wants to abolish abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or if the woman's life is in danger.

His own running mate co-sponsored a bill with Akin redefining rape as "legitimate rape", and when asked about the Personhood Amendment that failed to pass in Mississippi, Romney said he endorsed it. That bill would have banned abortions in ALL cases, as well as make forms of birth control illegal.

Of course, I'm sure Mitt has said otherwise, but he's supported this idea in the past, and if he's singing a different tune now it's only because the idea isn't very popular with most Americans.

Silly libs always forget the errata pages. See, if you doing God's work, it is okay to lie, cheat and steal. God obviously put you in that position to work for him, so whatever means you undertake to do that work must be acceptable, as God put you there.

Why don't those hippies at alternet try good old fashioned logic sometime instead of smoking that crazy weed?
