If I had a few hundred million dollars lying around, I would start my own Super PAC. It would be called the Stupid Things Republicans Say Super PAC, and the ads I would buy would be almost exactly like this one-audio or audio/video of Republicans Saying Stupid Things, with no additional commentary.

That is beautiful.

The comments are even better. They aren't just optimistic, they are absolutely certain Romney is going to win.

These people are going to pull a Jonestown the day after the election.

I'm going to predict it will be close - not going to underestimate the stupidity of the American voting public, again.

Bendal: /wouldn't vote for a Republican right now to pick up dead animals off a street

Why should the big bad government interfere with the natural order of things to remove dead animals? Just another example of socialist wasteful spending. If the animals were responsible they wouldn't have been killed on the street anyway, let their own families and churches take care of them.

The new republican strategy of trashing the polls is really bizarre. Do they really believe that if they can somehow convince people that the polls aren't true, that the polls will actually lose their validity? Or is it all a desperate attempt to keep the fund raising spigot open a little longer by convincing gullible conservatives that Romney still has a chance?

They attack every poll as being biased and then swear by Rass polls as gospel truth which are proven to be biased.

Again, the right embraces that which they criticize

Oh that's rich. I clicked one of his polling links, which took me to an Examiner article (barf) which of course cites Unskewed Polls. But you click to the actual poll from there and it says exactly the opposite.

I'd consider the GOP if they actually had a party platform that was educated, informed, thoughtful and based on reality and facts. They don't.

And sadly, a lot of voters don't seem to care. Team GOP is all that matters. As if they'd actually reward said voters for their loyalty. Heh.

Ha! What a sh*tty, sh*tty website. By all accounts that website was started about 1 month ago, and they provide zero explanation for how they "unskew" the polls.

In the article for "Why the Polls Are Skewed" I found this:

They will create the perception, via skewed polls, that Obama is winning and then hope the campaign can take advantage of this perception and steal enough votes to actually win the election. Then the perception, and the polls, will validate the stolen election and make it look all so plausible and realistic. If you don't believe they are doing this, then ask yourself how a president who is doing worse economically than Jimmy Carter was can somehow be reelected?

Bwahahahaha! The answer is so obvious, it's almost kind of sad that they can't grasp it...

This is a very bad election year.

Obama's campaign is focused around making you not want to vote for Romney, but then again not giving you a reason to actually vote for him. Romney is simply a terrible Republican candidate. There is no realistic 3rd option. This country is basically going to elect one piece of shiat versus the other, and will base their decision purely on which doesn't smell as bad.

I encourage everyone to support alternate candidates this election year, don't throw away your vote because it's popular.

As a sideline question ... Why aren't Republicans playing up the Supreme Court angle as an argument for their side?
It seems like one of the greatest perks of a party's being in power is appointing and confirming "their kind" to the high court.
Are no justices planning to step down in the next four years??

It's about delegitimizing Obama. This is just planting the seed that "people are lying and something's fishy." Next up comes "he cheated, election fraud, ACORN! blah blah blah he's not really our president. (See Birth Certificate, botched oath of Office, etc...)
