gilgigamesh: AspectRatio: NateGrey: Last Night I CriedThat is beautiful. The comments are even better. They aren't just optimistic, they are absolutely certain Romney is going to win. These people are going to pull a Jonestown the day after the election.
NateGrey: Its bad out there for Repubs:Last Night I Cried
Geotpf: If I had a few hundred million dollars lying around, I would start my own Super PAC. It would be called the Stupid Things Republicans Say Super PAC, and the ads I would buy would be almost exactly like this one-audio or audio/video of Republicans Saying Stupid Things, with no additional commentary.
Bendal: /wouldn't vote for a Republican right now to pick up dead animals off a street
Dinki: gilgigamesh: That would explain why Limbaugh just spent 20 minutes blasting Nate Silver. The new republican strategy of trashing the polls is really bizarre. Do they really believe that if they can somehow convince people that the polls aren't true, that the polls will actually lose their validity? Or is it all a desperate attempt to keep the fund raising spigot open a little longer by convincing gullible conservatives that Romney still has a chance?
Fluorescent Testicle: Crabs_Can_Polevault: That's ...unfortunate. Given how Rushbo's "Sandra Fluke" comments sprouted legs, I predict that we'll see a rash of conservative statisticalisticians popping up to oppose Nate Silver and the incontrovertible liberal bias of his sidekick, Math.Too late; it's already begun.
gilgigamesh: These people are going to pull a Jonestown the day after the election
Gaseous Anomaly: Bendal: /wouldn't vote for a Republican right now to pick up dead animals off a streetWhy should the big bad government interfere with the natural order of things to remove dead animals? Just another example of socialist wasteful spending. If the animals were responsible they wouldn't have been killed on the street anyway, let their own families and churches take care of them.
tony41454: Man, you people are REALLY going to be shocked and disappointed in November.

They will create the perception, via skewed polls, that Obama is winning and then hope the campaign can take advantage of this perception and steal enough votes to actually win the election. Then the perception, and the polls, will validate the stolen election and make it look all so plausible and realistic. If you don't believe they are doing this, then ask yourself how a president who is doing worse economically than Jimmy Carter was can somehow be reelected?
gilgigamesh: The Obama campaign told NBC the ad will run in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio and Virginia. Not even bothering to run it in PA, presumably because it is already locked up.But they are running it with the expectation they can swing Virginia and Nevada. Wow.
gilgigamesh: DeArmondVI: Link538 has Obama with a 97.8% chance of winning for the now-cast and an 81.9% chance Nov. 6Obama really is the luckiest man alive. That would explain why Limbaugh just spent 20 minutes blasting Nate Silver.
gilgigamesh: These people are going to pull a Jonestown the day after the election.
Weaver95: well who DOESN'T touch themselves when looking at pictures of G. Gordon Liddy? I mean c'mon man!

Thrakkerzog: MrBallou: Jesus. I didn't look at it closely before. I went to one of their articles to try to see what they thought the skew factor was and how they addressed it. All the links in the article just jump back to the front page. How they change the weightsIn short, they apply rasmussen party id weights to all polls.

Ever since "Desperado" I have had the hots for her.
Weaver95: I don't care what your politics are, from a purely strategic perspective it is NOT a good sign when your opponent can run your own words as a campaign ad and have it come out as pretty damn effective. Romney is in serious trouble.I think even our local GOP shills have started admitting to that fact.
dericwater: gilgigamesh: The Obama campaign told NBC the ad will run in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio and Virginia. Not even bothering to run it in PA, presumably because it is already locked up.But they are running it with the expectation they can swing Virginia and Nevada. Wow.They're already looking at Arizona as well.
MaudlinMutantMollusk: /I love the idea of Arizona with a wall around it
James F. Campbell: Kittypie070: Pardon? In what manner was egg-protecting cat "derping"?Just going by all the derp you've been derping lately, derpette.
andrewskdr: This is a very bad election year.Obama's campaign is focused around making you not want to vote for Romney, but then again not giving you a reason to actually vote for him. Romney is simply a terrible Republican candidate. There is no realistic 3rd option. This country is basically going to elect one piece of shiat versus the other, and will base their decision purely on which doesn't smell as bad.I encourage everyone to support alternate candidates this election year, don't throw away your vote because it's popular.

"Sandy, I feel the same way almost daily. Then I remember Chick Fil A Day and the turnout and atmosphere. That gives me hope for November."
Confabulat: This will the the standard Republican line for awhile. "It's not that Republican policies suck, it's just that we had a terrible Republican candidate! Everyone vote uh, liberatarian this year, yeah, that's the ticket!"
Lost Thought 00: Irving Maimway: Kazan:wait till 2025... texas is predicted to flip to D+2Yes, the Southwest is going to go D as a whole as the minority majority builds up.At which point the Republicans will attempt Civil War 2, claiming (somewhat accurately) that the Federal Government is incapable of properly representing their interests
