When did Tim Tebow find the time to start a band and marry Shia LeBeuf's sloppy seconds?

Yup - there's nothing like a suicide note performed to Celtic music!

I don't actively seek them out, but I don't mind when they come on the radio. I'd say the "Coldplay with banjos" comparison is apt, since that's how I feel about Coldplay as well.

Elandriel: They have some song that goes something like "It's not your fault it's mine, I really farked it up this time" or whatever. That song irritates the hell out of me. A friend of mine cheated on his wife, and then at a party I hosted for my wife, his wife played the song like five times in a row. So, this band unfortunately has a negative relation in my mind.

They can go to hell, and for that matter so can my friend's wife.

And yknow upon retrospection, so can my friend! Dick.

babysealclubber: calm like a bomb: Ohhh...you're one of those "I've got so much cash I can buy TWO records!" kind of guys.

[threadjack] I've become very confused in the last week. I used to be part of the 99%. Now I'm part of the 47%. Does that mean I've been promoted? [/threadjack]

There's a lot of good folk music for hipsters out there right now - Head and the Heart, Blind Pilot, Blitzen Trapper (to an extent)... For some reason, I can't get into these guys, though.

This is new to me and I like it. Mark E. Smith threw a bottle at M&S and for that (and Slates) I love him.

the bloodhound gang knows a thing or two about making fierce coasters.

I am fine with this news...these guys aren't what's wrong with the music industry.

and if you are getting into this kind of music only via the radio and finding new music doesn't scare you ; )
check out Old Crow Medicine Show, Split Lip Rayfield, The Devil Makes Three and older Yonder Mountain String Band...maybe you will like them too.
