Pocket Ninja: You're the ones who picked him.And seriously. Your last concert was Sugar Ray, Lifehouse, and Gin Blossoms. Jesus Christ. You people deserve to be fined.
EyeballKid: FTA: So where is the money coming from?Town Treasurer John Ponzio said it's coming from profits of a 2010 Train concert. That amount, $76,000, was put into a special account and some of the money was used last year to pay a $27,000 cancellation fee, when Hurricane Irene forced the cancellation of that summer's Indian Ledge concert with Sugar Ray, Lifehouse and Gin Blossoms. Is Connecticut like the Mecca of lame?
Killer Cars: Trumbull does lead the world in being just north of Bridgeport, which I'm sure is a fantastic draw for mainstream musical acts
TheBeastOfYuccaFlats: From the sounds of the acts they keep booking, it's like the town never left the 1990s.I mean, the bands in question aren't bad, but it's very odd. Also, life sucks when you sign a contract and have to abide by it, I guess.
ozarkmatt: Little known fact, for a while in the mid 80's, Bolton lived in Trumbull, two houses down from me./csb
Soup4Bonnie: How's Mom?
Killer Cars: Trumbull does lead the world in being just north of Bridgeport, which I'm sure is a fantastic draw for mainstream musical acts.

It's either that, the casinos, or driving into the city or Jones Beach. As for TFA, bwahahahahaaa!!! He's one of ours, and we wouldn't pay money to see him.
spman: Harbor Yard is a nice building, it's just that you can't exit your car anywhere near the arena unless you're packing heat
love_alice: ozarkmatt: Little known fact, for a while in the mid 80's, Bolton lived in Trumbull, two houses down from me./csbHe now lives in Westport, a few doors down from me.

weapon13: Cheron: ....damage or staying up past bead timemy kingdom for an edit buttonWhat sort of beads are we talking about and are they somehow all linked together?
bluorangefyre: While paying for a cancelled Nickelback concert might be worth every single penny, paying for cancelling a no-talent ass-clown is a bit much.
DaCaptain19: Bob Porter: Are you any relation to the pop singer?Office Space Quotes
DaCaptain19: Sooooooo, you're saying the house is haunted. Kind of a....mysterious vortex of suck from that home?
mycathatesyou: I went to St Joes in the 80's. I remember you.
wildcardjack: Town Treasurer John Ponzio said it's coming from profits of a 2010 Train concert.Ponzio? Ponzio? WHO HIRED THIS GUY! You'd think he'd have changed his name for business purposes.
ozarkmatt: mycathatesyou: I went to St Joes in the 80's. I remember you.I only knew a handful of people that went to St. Joe's, and only one actually lived in Trumbull. Are you Kim?
mycathatesyou: I didn't live in Trumbull, not Kim.
SomethingToDo: THIS IS THE TALE OF TRUMBULL, CONNECTICUTPICTURESQUE TOWN ON THE PEQUONNOCK STREAM
ozarkmatt: mycathatesyou: I didn't live in Trumbull, not Kim.Just as well. Kim was kinda beotch anyway . . . .
Ditch1852: When the town itself is putting on concerts, of course you are going to get past-their-prime acts. Small towns don't have entertainment budgets. It's no different from college - big schools fight over current pop stars and DMB, while smaller schools book people like Woman From Destiny's Child That Isn't Beyonce or The Other One.
