Voiceofreason01: pute kisses like a man:it's the creaminess of the guinness that makes it more exciting than many other stouts. though the other stout is inevitably more complex, more tasteful, more interesting... if it's not nitrogen bubbles, it's just a dark beer. guinness has that consistency that calls you back... it's not the taste, it's the whole feel of the beer in your mouth and in your system. no offense to the other stouts of the world. they may be better in many regards, but they can't replace a guinness. i don't really compare stouts with guinness, i think of guinness as it's own category (alongside the other couple beers in like style).Left Hand's Milk Stout now comes in a Nitrogen version which matches Guinness' "signature" consistency but with the high quality depth and complexity of flavor that you would expect from a modern microbrew. It is superior to Guinness in every way./although I agree that it probably isn't fair to class Guinness with other stouts
