The video someone linked to above showed all the devices he had on him and the cop being interviewed on the video admitted that the officers quickly determined that the devices were not a threat. Searching him and checking the devices was reasonable. Arresting him was not. What facts could change that? What reasonable person could not check and see that these were not "infernal devices" or made to purposely give the impression that they were something other than what they are? The only facts that might be missing were how he might have annoyed the police so that the police might have made up a charge they thought would put him in his place, which would be an abuse of police power.

"If you wear terrorist clothes..."
What exactly are clothes that identify you as a terrorist?
I thought the whole point of terrorists was that you don't know who done it until afterwards when they brag like idiots.

This is sad. No humor in this.

Congratulations DHS and War on Terror, you have Americans so worked up that they ARE willing to sacrifice liberty for the mirage of security.

Calmamity: Uhh, submitter, he had a phone, a GPS and an MP3 player. Just like you, most likely.

Dude got arrested for being brown and bearded, plain and simple, and now the cops are charging with some trumped up bullsh*t.

That was kind of the point.
