Nobody knows what the plot of that arc was subby. This coming from somebody who defends the show as being better than Voyager.

FTFA: The carving depicts a man, probably a Buddhist god, perched with his legs tucked in, holding something in his left hand.

And typing with his right hand?

Last time I'm having to say this here I hope. Enterprise was much better then the credit it gets. Watch it now and much better then first aired. Better then that freaking DS9

Enterprise would have been much better if they had just stayed the Fark away from time travel. Every time they touched the subject, they mangled it horribly.

Also, every single alien species they encountered turned out to be hostile. Became very predictable.

Also, the Xindi story arc went on way too long.

So my complaints were mainly with the writing. It was decently cast and with a good premise. I actually thought the show started to get stronger in its final season, but then it was cancelled. And the finale was terrible.

What made me quit watching Enterprise was they finally finished up the whole Temporal Cold War thing and then suddenly Nazis. I refused to watch an episode past that point.

That's not a smart move.

See, the Space Nazi episode was the end of the crap. It was right after that when Manny Coto and Garfield and Judith Reeves-Stevens took over running the show, and made the final season what the show should have always been.

For the most part, I agree. I don't think the show was as bad as it has become in memory.
But I will say this, as much as I like Scott Bakula, I think he was the wrong choice to play Archer. He was just too well known, too established.

However, having Admiral Al Calavicci holding his squished jujube palm pilot pop up in the final episode next to Captain Archer and telling him he had to save Trip to leap out would have been a much better ending than The Pegasus part 1.5 that we got.

I only kind of remember Bakula in Quantum Leap, and he didn't seem bad in that, but I couldn't take to him in Enterprise. It might have been a direction thing, but he always seemed ....smug? Arrogant, maybe? It didn't help that the writing was sometimes boring, sometimes inhumanly awful, and only occasionally brilliant.

Loved "Damage" and "Through a Mirror, Darkly" though.

"Through a Mirror, Darkly" had the alternate universe theme for open & close...is it bad I wanted to replace the regular theme with that?

Exactly. Can you prove them wrong? Then step off.

I wonder if the same aliens that helped write the constitution were the same ones that helped the Nazis. That would be messed up. Almost as messed up as killing all of the dinosaurs to pave way for mankind.

[In seriousness, I did enjoy the first season, for the geography. Underground cities in Turkey? Interesting ruins in Mexico and Central America? Cool. Must be aliens!]

Rewatching DS9 right now(Just finished "It's a FAAAAAKE!"). Tht show is the best adaptation of B5 ever!

Which is basically Lord of the Rings in Space.

Both are awesome

4th season of Enterprise (minus the first and last eps) was the finest Trek ever aired.

I think the low point of Enterprise was when they time-traveled back to present day Detroit for no apparent reason. Even the bad guys' plans didn't really make any sense in that episode. It was really bad.

The space Nazis were pretty bad though. Even worse than bad, it was lazy. When you can't think up or write a good villain, just throw some Nazis in there. Lazy lazy lazy.

This.

I almost stopped watching after the Enterprise engaged a squadron of modified Stuka dive-bombers in an aerial fight, but after that mini-arc, the rest of season four was great.

The finale was an abomination and didn't happen.

I stopped watching Voyager after they picked up Seven of Nine except for a few quality episodes. WHY IS HER UNIFORM A LEOTARD WITH HIGH HEELS? jerk off fodder to the max.

Which brings me to my next question, why is a leotard and/or jumpsuit the standard uniform for 'the meat' in Star Fleet? See: Deanna Troi, Seven of Nine, T'Pol... shiat, DS9 seemed to be the only series to not slut up its lead female roles too badly.

/Oh god, I'm defending Deep Sleep Nine.
