That article was not nearly sexually graphic enough for my tastes, frankly. fark you, subby.

Also -- though I hardly think it needs to be said -- the Christian groups are morons if they think children are browsing a school board's website in their spare time. What this is really about is making sure people don't enjoy gay sex, because Jesus.

Well...

I didn't include the "(article contains some sexually graphic language)" warning in my headline, Fark added that.

Kinda makes my headline less funny. :-P

Hey dad, can you run down to the store and get me some school supplies?

As a parent, I say "aww hell no!".

I am all for adults doing whatever they want to get off as long as it doesn't involve children and animals and is in between consenting adults. But I don't want my kids learning the more experimental stuff from a school supported website.

/let them learn from pornhub.com like me
//keeding about pornhub
///or am I?

I can't get to the website because I'm using my mobile, does it say
anything about pudding or midgets? It could have some bearing
on my potential level of outrage or interest.

Also, does it mention the Duchess of Cambridge's legs or boobs?
That could also be germane.

If I had a kid old enough to use a computer by themself, and they found this stuff, my first question would be what they were doing looking at the local school board's website. That's weirder than them intentionally looking for porn or anything else related to sexuality.

/Your kids that access the internet unsupervised have already seen stuff way more perverse than this. Try not to freak out about it.

There's the link to the Toronto School Board website. I think I'd fall asleep before I found the link out they're talking about.
And yes, I did a search for "Just Say Yes, pro sex", just as the article suggested, but I didn't find anything.

No, vegetables are sensual. People are sensuous.

I can't really complain about this. At school, I was a sexual health/ relationship peer (kind of like, someone anonymous to talk to about sex in high school) and I mainly spoke to girls, and the numbers of them having regular but completely unfulfilling sex with their boyfriends was astonishing. If girls aren't allowed to learn about sex, they still have it, but it's just terrible. Most of these girls had never masturbated and very few of them were able to say they'd had an orgasm (either they hadn't, or they didn't know). Any site that suggests healthy exploration of sex for consenting people- or teenagers on their own- is fine by my book.

/ Never talked about 'vegetables', but I think one unusual line in a very good site is no reason to abandon that site.

Not one adult - no matter how liberal - I spoke with Wednesday seemed to have any background, knowledge, experience or reference point concerning sex with vegetables. Because god knows that the natural response to a journalist (or a prosecutor, I can't figure out which) asking "Do you know anything about sex with vegetables? By the way, how liberal are you?" is an honest answer.

I'm not really sure this is the school's place. Shouldn't they concentrate their efforts into educating the kids to where they'll be productive members of society? I doubt teaching them to get their rocks off is going to be that helpful.

2012-09-27 09:16:06 AM
So I went to the site, positive.org and honestly i would show that site to my son in a heartbeat. The goal of the site seems to be a) educate b) be honest and open with yourself and your partner and c) realize that sex is normal and as long as you & your partner enjoy yourself and no one is being hurt IT'S OKAY. even if what u r doing isn't "mainstream". Who gives a shiat. U like it so don't be embarrassed just because others don't.

The butthurt expressed in the article makes it clear that the message has been lost on these these morons. In fact I believe these idiots are more harmful to the healthy development of the kids than anything you will find on that site.

Encouraging masturbation amongst teenagers (at lest the girls, the boys hardly need encouragement) is a good thing. Rarely does one get oneself pregnant or give oneself an STD.
