(Detroit Free Press)   Police now think Jimmy Hoffa's body may be buried under a driveway in Roseville, Michigan. Or under the 50 yard line of the New Meadowlands. Hell, he might be on a space ship with Elvis, Biggie, and Tupac for all they know   (freep.com) divider line 25

Pfft. Don't be silly subby.

They found Jimmy Hoffa's body in Buffalo a while ago.

He's dead and has been for over 30 years. Get over it and quit wasting tax dollars on this crap.

The driveway is behind a one-story brick home on a corner in the 18700 block of Florida>

Technically, Subby could have used the Florida tag, which would have been just as useful as spending tax dollars and police time looking for Jimmy Hoffa's body. Heck, I'm surprised it hasn't turned up here

That's silly. WHEREVER it is, Jimmy Hoffa's body is in water. A few hours after he was taken, a courier delivered a fish to his family. He sleeps with the fishes. PROBABLY somewhere in the Lake Huron to Lake Erie section of the Great Lakes, due to the timing. The mob is considerate that way -- they don't leave the families wondering.

Pigs'll take care of the body.

To be fair, they're just taking soil samples right now to see if there is a body under there. And Hoffa wasn't the only guy killed by the mob.

FTFA: "The tipster told the Free Press he waited three decades to approach authorities because he was afraid of being killed. He said he finally went to the FBI a few years ago, but was rebuffed. He said he decided to contact Roseville police after getting nowhere with the news media, who he wanted to arrange to have the driveway dug up. He said he hoped to collect the $300,000 reward that was once offered for information leading to Hoffa's whereabouts. Crancer and the Teamsters said Wednesday that the family and the union are no longer offering a reward."

What happened to the reward money?

On Youtube there is a series on British WWII commando units. In one the twelve segments, a very old veteran and his wife told the tearful story of a padre who came to his parents' door during the war. He told both of them that their son was not MIA but he was dead. The padre said he was on the raid with the unit and personally witnessed their son drown.

The veteran didn't learn of this visit until decades later. The only problem with the padre's story was there weren't any padres on the raid.

Hoffa is dead and his body was dumped in the water or melted in chemicals. Sick people tell lies just to get attention.

/search "commando wwii" on youtube. threre's 3 or 4 series

Duh. Senator Lucius Bedfellow drowned Hoffa in his backyard pond.

My thoughts exactly. Sounds like a great way to get your old one demolished. Maybe they could dig a hole for a new septic tank for another guy.

If they're digging up the back yard, why not call the pool guy and see how cheaply you can get an in ground pool put in if he doesn't have to do the digging?

Sonny's story about witnessing the disposal of Hoffa's body has real credence and is backed up by none other
than Bill Bonanno, son of Joe Bonanno, in his book, Bound by Honor and serial killer Richard Kuklinski, aka the
"Ice Man". Bonanno says in his book that Hoffa was "run through a car compactor", and is probably in someone's
front fender. This tallies with the facts that the Bonanno family was running Brooklyn at the time, knew Paulie
Vario and certainly would have gotten the word of Hoffa's disposal, if not from Vario himself, certainly from Paulie
Lefty. Kuklinski revealed in a television interview that Hoffa in fact was crushed in a car compactor. Kuklinski was a
hit man for the mob and used the chop shop owned by Paul Vario to dispose of many bodies. It makes perfect
sense that Kuklinski was privy to Hoffa's disposal as well. Hoffa's disposal had been also confirmed to Paulie Lefty
by his own brother who was there. Sonny also knew "Tony Pro" through his brother and knew that he was a
"heavy-hitter." There was definitely a connection between Tony Pro Provenzano and Paulie Lefty according to
Sonny. Did Paulie Lefty plan and set up the kidnapping and murder of Hoffa? Very possibly. Sonny suspects that
it could be true given their many evenings watching stories about Hoffa's disappearance and Paulie's ridiculing
the reports about possible sites of his disposal. All Sonny knows for sure is that he identified Hoffa's lifeless body,
which had a bullet hole in his forehead, and saw him crushed in a car at Paulie Vario's chop shop.

In the summer of 1975 I was a caddy at Oakland Hills Country Club. When the news broke that Hoffa disappeared I realized I had been in the drug store buying a pop (that's what we called them back then) at the other end of the strip mall from the Red Fox (the restaurant Hoffa disappeared from) at about the time he disappeared. At the time I thought it was cool that I might have "seen" him enter or leave the restaurant. The two places are far enough apart that you could see the restaurant from the drug store but you would not have been able to recognize a persons face. Nonetheless, I've always felt a personal connection to the case. [end boring story]

If they do dig up Giant Stadium to look for Jimmy, they could always fill it in by taking the replacement refs and Roger Goodell and burying them alive.

They will never find the body. Jeffrey Dahmer ate him.

I went on a short search, and found only one reference:

While the ex-Teamster boss [Hoffa] fretted, O'Brien was with Giacalone at a nearby athletic club. Earlier, according to O'Brien's attorney James Burdick, O'Brien had delivered a fish packed in dry ice to I.B.T. vice-president Robert Holmes. The fish was in a "leaky plastic container," according to Burdick_ O'Brien was driving a car that belonged to Giacalone's son Joey. "Because the fish blood and slime got all over the back seat of young Giacalone's car, O'Brien then went to a nearby car wash to get the stains washed off," Burdick says.

The Government later seized Giacalone's car, charging that O'Brien "had used the car to lure Jimmy Hoffa into a meeting with his abductors." Tracking dogs detected Hoffa's scent in the car.
